So I know you'll tell me school first and face your books. Yes, I know all that. I'll be 17 in two months. I'm intelligent and i do very well in school. Most of you guys have passed through my stage and I hope you understand that this is the stage where you start having feelings for the opposite sex. So I hope this doesn't sound like I'm a bad girl or something like that. I don't want you to say things like "what is this generation turning into?" because I'm very sure it happened in the previous generation and there are evidences such as the single mums that i see that got pregnant then. Long story short, there is a boy i like and he likes me too and he just asked me out. I made it very clear to him that we are not going to get intimate and he is very okay with it. I know you'll say it can happen by accident but i know that the only place we can get intimate is at a lonely place so all I'll have to do is to avoid it. The thing now is that do you think getting into a relationship at 16 is quite okay. Mind you, I'll soon be 17.

Won ma to do e

Won ma get e

lol. If you restrain your children so much from something, they's like to test and see what that thing is. We teenagers can do a lot of things without our parents knowing.
what is your purpose for wanting to enter a relationship? Is it cuz your friends have guys? Babe, I'm 21 and I've never had a boyfriend and I don't feel like I'm missing out a thing. Relationships aren't all they're hyped to be. All this mouth you're making, anything you think you know now, I knew more than you then and I still know now. Try making friends with guys before thinking of relationships. I doubt you have many male friends

My dear, i won't advise you to go into any relationship at this your tender age because it is implicating and it has consequences. So think about your future and do away with the lustful feelings of yours. You are too young to love ok?

You are still a child, start at the age you feel you are ready to settle down, you don't need to count census to know the man that is for you when the time comes. Trust me, it pays to wait on matters such as this. A child is a child no matter how wise she claims to be.

Dating isn't for fun but for adults that are ready to strive towards working out a lasting union . Regrets doesn't come cheap......

There is nothing wrong with frienship. What is wrong with frienship is what follows it. Yes you might have a clear/clean heart about it, but what about the boy, what about his friends and the society at large. My advise to you is 'think well before you make a decision'. If I were you I will enter university or clock 18 years first. At that stage you would be able to take a good decision that you will not regret. Trust no body except your self.

You are not ready for advice dear as you told us how to advise you without even waiting to see what we would say first.

Anyway because of your young age I would advise that you FACE YOUR STUDIES FIRST!!!

This chick is just playing games with y'all.

She's at the age of rebellion and self discovery

Her mind is already made up and she's gonna do what she damn well pleases whatever you tell her.

So better tell her the truth

cos sooner or later, she's gonna f**k somebody

And she'd be like "damn, this is so good i shoulda done this when i was 16".

Men are all up and down looking for a sixteen year old to date, not because they love you but because they like it 'fresh' . Looking for a virgin to break, not to marry but to add that to their trophy collection , and later discriminate her as second hand. Looking for a young girl to call their 'fresh fish' but you won't find it funny when after all they now refer to you as 'old and dried fish'

To tell you the truth , guys, boys, men, are only out to get their fun and destroy women. They only care about themselves. Marriage is the only thing that brings both genders together, and then it doesn't even keep u guys together. Move forward, cuz all a guy wants with you now is to pull down your star and have you at his mercy to scorn. Be wise.
There are actually guys out there who do not think this way. Please do not always generalise

Seriously all this silly hypocritics on this thread.....msteww! Like you all didn't date at that age.

Read your books, what do you need a bf for, you are too young. I guess its because she's a female. The society has way in bringing down females when it comes to their sexuality and relationships with silly excuses like you too young go study blah blah blah

If It was a guy it would be different. Sexist f**ls!
Who says she's aint a uni student? What will be your reaction? She says she's doing well in her academics what else again? Msteww the best time to explore your sexuality is when you are young.

When you get older, you tend not to as you have many other things and events to do with.

Just make sure you can still maintain the good grades with the relationship. If you know you can't then step away. Is the guy too smart as you? When you enter make sure both of you complement each other and help each other that's what relationships are about not the kissing and all you see on tv.(Though its part but not the major stuff grin)

Finally use protection if it comes to that situation and when things fail don't come crying foul. Accept it and move on life isn't all about romantic relationships.

Ciao!
