Anambra International Cargo Airport is already under construction under PPP. Three brand new dual carriageways linking the facility is equally under construction. Pipelines are being laid to supply ATK at a dump within the airport facility to serve as the hub for commercial sell of ATK in West Africa.

Nothing like propaganda, I don't like Obiano's administration but this commendable, my friend went there and came back loaded with knowledge.

I wrote in Enugu thread that soon the trailer loads of cattle and goats coming down from North will end in no distance time.
No region is investing in Agriculture than SE especially Anambra,Enugu, Aniomas if others are doing with the pace these listed places are doing I don't know because nobody broadcast to us.


Could you imagine that states with crude oil deposits are investing massively in Agriculture while states without even palm oil are neck deep into crude oil

Agriculture is very popular in Anambra State now I can attest to that.

I will come to anambra this december and take my time to visit these places. Snap pictures and write something on it. I know its a gradual process, if done right, we can definitely move forward.

No! No! This will be a 21 century Cattle Farming & not a Stone Age Farming!.This modern farming is what you see in USA, Canada,UK, Isreal,New Zealand, Bolivia, Namibia, South Africa, Kenya etc

You should know that in the next 5 years the South of Nigeria might have increased their Cattle stock & there by puting Fulani Cattle farmers at of business!.There might be a blanket ban on Fulani way of Cattle rearing in the whole South of Nigeria!.

You are right on point with the cattle farming thing.
I don't know why it is so hard for true investors to embrace this goldmine.

The same thing happened when people were preaching for poultry farming and nobody wanted to listen. A few did and made a fortune, now everyone is rushing into it.

i hope someone finally builds a modern cattle ranch in those sites you mentioned and is able to supply meat,cheese and milk to the entire zone.

HE governor of Anambra State, Chief Wille Obiano has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to refund the N25 billion debt which the state government spent in reconstructing federal roads in the state.
Obiano, who made the appeal at a forum to mark his 18 months in office at the governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, at the weekend said the amount, if refunded, would go a long way in reducing the mounting obligations faced by his government.

He noted that while some other state governors, excluding Anambra, are swimming in billions of naira occasioned by the Federal Government’s bail out on account of their inability to pay salaries, Anambra, which adopted other creative means to pay salaries and meet other pressing needs, is being owed such a huge sum of money in the midst of dwindling federal allocations and internally generated revenues.

According to him, the federal government has promised to look into his demand, and expressed optimism that the refund would be made.

The governor said on assumption of office, he discovered that many cheques issued in the twilight of his predecessor’s tenure were flying about, prompting him to freeze the account until the matter was streamlined, adding that a forensic audit he ordered in the state public service exposed about 520 ghost workers

He added that the savings from the loopholes, aggressive revenue generation drive as well as investment inflow occasioning secured environment accounted for the buoyancy of the state and its ability to pay salaries and meet other obligations.

The governor said prior to the Federal Government’s directive on Treasury Single Account (TSA), his administration had already operated a single account as against 150 accounts in operation in the state when he assumed office barely 18 months ago.

It can be done if every Landlords for instance in Awada Obosi contributes between #300 to 500 thousand for each plot & govt contributing at least 2 Trailer loads of Cement which will not be more than 2Million Naira per Street you will see the whole of the place turned over Night!.This will attract more businesses & the value of the properties in those areas will skyrocket immediately!.There will be better rent paid for houses!.The Beauty of the environment will be improved tremendously!.It will be easier to maintain & clean the streets!.There will be no more dust,dirt on the Houses & no more red Muds on our roads!.Somebody told me if is properly done it can last for 10 years for busy roads & more on less busy roads there by saving a lot of money for the people & govt!.If This is repeated in the whole of Onitsha, Thousands of Jobs will be instantly created!.I am planning to forward the proposeral to our Chairman Landlord Association very soon!.

If you want to establish it go to Uli, Amorka side, lands will be cheap there and development will not encroach on you faster, if you open at Oba or Oraifite those places are already witnessing massive development.

Places like Nsukka, Ogwashi Ukwu are very nice for ranches because of vast lands and rush vegetation as well as isolated from the major cities.

Am interested in cattle rearing as well, but which breed of cow will you rear because we need those that will grow faster as well as adapt to the environment.

Nice idea
I have said it before because it can be easily done if there is a good cooperation between the landlords of the area with or with no government.

Investnow2013 pls if you can forward it to the chairman of landlord at Obosi it will be a very good idea because Obosi needs a good road.
If upto five street at Obosi should do it, I believe other street will follow suit because 90% of roads at awada,odume and ugwuagba Obosi needs serious attention.
