Diego Simeone is not a guaranteed path to success. He might come n flop. We don't need to sack El jefe now just cos we lost to arsenal. City lost 4-1 last week to another London club, Tottenham n they didn't talk about sacking their gaffer. The season is long n each team will experience their ups and downs, teams will be run over by some score lines, the table log will keep changing. The question is how we manage the situation in this coming weeks, how the players react to this loss when they play Everton next two weeks.

I think we should change the formation to 4 - 3 - 3! We are only playing irritating ball possession. If the Team wanna stick to the philosophy, then we gonna need a Playmaker like Xavi. Honestly it's just a joke watching us playing ball all around like Kids on the training pitch!

I think the formation (lineup) below gonna be the best alternative to the present 4 - 2 - 3 - 1.

LVG should give Wilson a chance to prove his mettle. He's a lefty, pacy and speedy as well! And since Depay has refused to grow up, he deserves to be super-glued on the Bench. I hope Rojo gets fit before the end of International Break!
We can't keep playing with Old Legs (in the name of experience). Both Carrick and Schweinteiger should be coming up in the 2nd Half of the Match. They can be on the Bench and reading the game, then come in to make things happen in the 2nd half just in case their services are needed (with their respective experience)!

I said this when the season started that we played our best football when we lined up in a 4-3-3 formation last season, Mata had the freedom to move forward n he formed a partnership with Herrera, Young, Fellaini were fantastic during that period n el jefe said that it was his best formation. Fast forward to this season n we r lining up with this 4-2-3-1 formation which doesn't work well with possession football. I also think that the integration of the new signings stunted our squad's growth, they will need time to gel again.

4-2-3-1 would've been okay if the man behind the striker isn't lethargic and semi-indifferent.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mourinho changes his formation to 4 - 3 - 3. The Formation is presently being used by many Managers in the League!

It is very easy to blame the players as I have read from many posts here but it is also very easy to detect the senselessness of Loius van Gaal from the team sheet. We all know Arsenal players have pace and it will trouble the geriatric pair of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Micheal Carrick, we even saw it from last season's meetings but the myopic coach goes on with the same nonsense.
Substituting two players from the restart shows the fault is squarely with the coach and he's only succeeded in dampening morales of the yanked off players, as well as losing three goals/points to a very average side!

Van Gaal got it wrong in selection. Most of us saw it as soon as the line up was released. You assess your opponent to create your first eleven.

The first point of weakness was midfield of Carrick and Schweinsteiger against pacing Arsenal players. When you put Young in left back, Mata in front of Darmian, then you create a team not balanced to match Arsenal pace and strength.

Darmian lost every contest against Sanchez. We also know Blind lacks pace and strength. He is a technical player with sense and passing intelligence. The best place and probably only place for him is left back. I won't recommend him in midfield.

If we had Valencia starting in the right back for us yesterday, we surely would have done far better. Schneiderlin should be starting against such teams as Arsenal, West Ham and every team that have players who can run.

We didn't try to nullify Arsenal pace and we paid for it. Valencia, Jones, Scheneideline would have done us a decent job yesterday. De Pay refusal to put his body on a 50-50 ball in a dangerous area got Arsenal their first goal.

Martial is the only one we can count on week in week out. Mata also try giving his best always but against pacing teams there is nothing much he can do if he doesn't have strong men playing behind him.
