Hello House, I have just sent an email to Dr. Emile Hanna of Strong Technologies Dubai on the need to make PVu of SRT 4950h more user friendly like SRT 4922 series.
I have noticed that no amount of editing & addition on Seca would make the PVu work on 4950 in most instances, so lets hope they would do something on this issue soon.
I was the one that wrote him initially on the need to make 4950 series PVu enabled too just like 4922 & 4930 series of which he promised & did. Its only that it is complicated the way it is now even with the latest software.

Power Vu menu on Strong receivers doesn't come from Strong-technologies but from Wizkid.Persiangig... biss, Power Vu, Seca, Iderto menu etc are taboo to Strong-technologies since those receivers came to Africa via MyTv.

I would advise you to go for Strong for that kind of satellites

There are two types of supermax c band lnb. The one with the rings and the long one without rings. Make your choice.

C-band is different from Ku. Kindly google , that's the best place to know the difference(for personal knowledge).

But you can go with KU.
