i dont know why my sony six is cracking at 78% but my HBO is not cracking,i dont know if it is because of the zink on the roof ahead that is sending reflexing on the dish or its the little area that is dent o. the dish or what ,since i tracked it i only enjoy it for a day before it starts cracking,am using 4950 ,i will buy 4922D+ and see if problem still persist

It's just poor signal strength. Try to improve what you have already first because it's never steady, it can drop 2 - 4% of signal strength, so you need security, in this case I mean you have to achieve minimum of 65% on 4922a or 4922D+

This latest sw 185p is working fine so check the frequencies you entered before under the keys section.

Guru in the house, please tell me what I have done wrong that, with the latest sw 3.34p on my SRT 4950H, none of the PV* channels has agreed to open on IS20@68.5E. The Sky N**s,H*O,CNN, Sony etc. all have refused to open though I upgraded the decoder from sw 3.24p straight to 3.34p. So those using the SRT 4950 series should help me out because no single channel has opened

open sony channels and HBO + CNN India ie

The latest software releases for SRT 4922 series is the best for PowerVu as it is easy to edit & add because you are the ones that will input the frequency and the keys unlike SRT 4950 series which is very cumbersome because it has its keys & frequencies pre-installed and will not save your editing.

after reading this i fear we are in big trouble ,you are giving FTA a death sentence exposing it to such a company like strong tch,please stop this ,u are trying to help but you are also in turn killing us,please no one should try this in the future,my str 4950 dose not require pv key each time you off or on it.to get your pv stable on str 4950 just go to the last key on the pv menu and press add(the moment u press add)add the pv key you need e.g0000 00 1234567890,0000 01 1234567890 and press ok,then press the rename button(yellow button )and put 68.5E 3900 H and press ok that is all open the channel,you are good to go.off ur decoder and on it and the key will never change thats how to do it.please its hackers that give us pv not strong tech ,i remember someone on the forum told you this but you didnt listen to him,dont write him again or be ready to say bye bye to power vu,remember how we lost mbc

@Truly good work done for trying to solved this 4950 predicament but I suggest the petition should have gone to the hackers which is sameer on crosat.com fame but you can also get a decoder that cannot give you any problems when its come to power vu again good work and nice try.

Switch to the channel you want to put the key on and go to the necessary place to put the Biss Key, save and exit.

Switch to the next channel you want to add key to, go to the necessary place to put the key and go to the next roll before you put the key.

I.e Don't put the key for different channels on the same roll. Use different roll.

First what decoder are you using if strong decoder select tv3 go to the biss key section put the yellow bar on tv3 biss key exist it will save ur settings that's it. If Qsat its should be simple. Check the transponder of tv3 and go to patch if that tally
