kendrick9:You obviously do not know your football, cause if you did, you'd know Enyeama is among the top 3 keepers in Ligue 1. There are statistics to prove this. |

sukkot:He has always been an arrogant eediot. His story on this issue is consistent. That he can not sit and allow any other person captain him. All insult to his mother and security sending him out are simply meant for his gullible fans. Instead of him being grateful to Nigeria for what we did to him. He was keeping for Enyimba International against Julius Beggar when Onigbinde watched the match and brought him to Super Eagles. Without the opportunity to play for Super Eagles , he could have gone unnoticed. So he should please spare me his 14 years paid service. |

Am so surprised with the kind of bashing enyeama is getting here, most Nigerians here are not following the issues properly, enyeama is only reacting to the lies oliseh was peddling in a damage control arranged interview by the NFF with Toyin ibitoye where oliseh was lying that enyeama has been having issues with all Nigerian coaches including Berti vogts. Oliseh also accused enyeama of character assassination and said enyeama said he insulted his mother. Oliseh is a kid and like someone said, this matter has been partially resolved with enyeama retiring from the national team. Its left for oliseh to translate all his grammar and phonetics to the field of play and let's see how it goes. For me am waiting for our home and way game against Egypt in march next year to know whether oliseh was a worthy successor to keshi. |

See me see something. So because he was stripped of the captain band, we all should hold our breath for him? What nonsense! Silva was replaced with Neymar as the captain of the Brazilian team and he didn't raise hell fire. Enyeama should go and sleep joor. Nigerians too like title. |

Yes, you served us for 13yrs, rem also you never refused the match bonuses and salaries. I mean what do people mean when they say after all he has done for Nigeria?....he is not a social worker nor a humanitarian. He's paid for not just being between the goal post buh even in the bench during matches. Abeg enough is enough. Let him discuss with his wife if he should call off his retirement. Mtchew. |

I don't get people castigating Oliseh for changing Enyeama as captain. Thiago Silva was removed and replaced with Neymar as captain of the Samba boys no one heard any noise, Mascharano suffered the same fate with Argentina.. He was replaced by a certain Lionel Messi again no noise was made of it.. My only question in this whole brouhaha is this "did Oliseh any point called Enyeama to discuss his philosophy and d issue of team captain with him ? If yes is the answer to the question above, den Enyeama can go and have a filled day. I will happily miss him as our gollie |

I am one of Enyeama's numerous Super Fans out there but i am not one of his sentimental fans, hell No. I subscribe to the school of thought that frowns at insubordination. His ego got a better part of him and he completely lost it, bringing in sentimental issues like the death of his mum in other to cloud everyone's reasoning on his actions/reactions before the players is a NO NO for me. The coach is the Boss and you must subject yourself to his authority and if you need an explanation then you know the way to his office. Oliseh has every right to appoint whoever he wants as his captain and whatever methodology he uses to accomplish it is his absolute prerogative and the national team Captainship is not a birthright and there are no written codes or rules on it either. Every coach has its own methodology to issues: I don’t have to explain my decision to Petr Cech, he knows where my office is. I know it’s a bit far for them because it’s the last office in the corridor, opposite to their dressing room, but they know where I am and I always tell them – if they need an explanation, I never close the door. Jose Mourinho “I don’t want special relations with one of them (his players). I hate to speak about individuals. Players don’t win you trophies, teams win trophies, squads win trophies.” Jose Mourinho “Why drive Aston Martin all the time, when i have Ferrari and Porsche as well? That would just be stupid” – When asked about rotating Joe Cole, Arjen Robben and Damien Duff. Jose Mourinho ![]() “I told [Adrian] Mutu, you are already a rich boy, you won a lot of money, you are still in a big contract. So no problem with your future about money, no problem about prestige in your home country. When you go back to Romania you will be one of the kings. But five years after you leave football nobody remembers you. Only if you do big things. This is what makes history.” Jose Mourinho ![]() “I just put the team up,” said Mourinho. “No explanation to any player, because it’s my decision. Jose Mourinho “The players may not be happy, or not agree with the decision, It’s what I think is best for the team at a certain moment. This is the way I do it. Jose Mourinho. If they come to me and ask me to explain, no problem- Jose Mourinho I had one who asked, knocking on my door asking why someone else was playing instead of him. “I told him the other man was playing better, closed the door, goodbye. Jose Mourinho ![]() “I don’t think I have to be always speaking with players about decisions. For me, it’s the club, the team and the players. The club is not under my control. The team, yes, so I want the players to think that everything I do, I do thinking about the team. I don’t like to be always justifying to the players my decisions. Jose Mourinho |

In the first place I am finding it difficult to see reasons Oliseh was given the Job, from my perception I feel super eagle is a lot bigger for Oliseh to kick start his coaching career. As for Enyeama I don't feel striping of captaincy warranty your unprepared retirement if truly you are committed to national assignment, that been said, now that u are retired stop distraction, super eagle needs concentration and your speech might spite disunity in the team.
