Suit yourself.Rufai is your best,Enyeama is mine mr encyclopedia.
If we start the football know-how quiz you'll be surprised how little you know. Rufai was dropped severally for the super eagles and our qualification for USA '94 was due to the contributions for alloy agu and wilfred abonibvare, after '94 he disappeared again till the worldcup france '98 proper and messed up.Our qualifying for that actual tourney was more to do with willy opara and Baruwa et al.
Pls stop misinforming us

Do you really understand English because you said no one is close to Vincent's record.

Look, Peter Rufai kept for Super Eagles for 15 years and that was between 1993 to 1998 and was an excellent goal-keeper. He was in the post for Nigeria's first ever 'World Cup' in USA'94 after winning the Nations' Cup same year and gave a good account of himself as one of the best keepers at the tourney.

You don't know a lot about the history of Nigerian football and its players.

Enyeama is looking for cheap sympathy.... yes,he lost his mother and we have sympathized with him but stop using to gain attension... we have all lost someone,so he ain't a special case.
He ought to have respected his boss
Edit--- there are people who don't even have the means to bury there loved ones, suffering frm poverty,no one to help them... where is the sympathy for those people?
enyeama should count himself lucky... nonsense
You just posted a trash, my personal opinion though. i understand and support enyama 100%,even as i solicit support for the new coach Sunday olise.

Can you few days after burying your mother you took 6 hours flight just to represent this zoo of a country that won't even remember you after serving her wholeheartedly? By right Enyeama should have been at home taking a leave/rest cos Sunday just after d burial was a thanksgiving service at his home church. For the guy to travel to the camp shows how patriotic he is. If u don't have something sensible to say about dis matter u better keep shut. This is the 1st comment I've made concerning this Enyeama issue even though I've met him one on one during his days with d Akwa United before Enyimba signed him. He's a humble guy. Shut ur trap, dude!

I definitely will not misinform you. The record is there.

I've been following football when i was a kid and i'm so passionate about it.

Peter Rufai was a great goal-keeper. He won a lot of medals. Ask Westerhof and Bonfere Jo, they'll tell you more. These are two great Dutch coaches who knew a lot about Nigerian football more than you.

Talk is very cheap for lots of folks, quickly jumping to conclusion that Vincent's just out for cheap sympathy.

But let's be honest if u were in his shoes, would you have acted more matured than he's done ?
That is eh nigerians are heartless .tufiakuwa
A man who served this country for 13 years just buried his mum and most people on this stupid forum can't even cut him some slack! Just as wicked as oliseh. God forbid

If anyone thinks it's not worth to mourn ones mother just d way Vincent is doing now,let d person pray 4 his mother's death.

But at the same time,Vincent if u mourn your mother is not bad but too much of everything is bad. Don't allow that to affect your profession..... ur mama don do her own go, u to do wetin u fit do b4 ur time reach
...and stop advertising ur mama's death on social media as for Olise he is only trying to do his duty as ur boss.

Many have supported Enyeama....Just saying he should move on and stop crying over spilled milk....why the curse? His fortune cane out this way...doesn't mean it will happen to everyone....Nexttime think before you place a curse...imagine everyone u quoted hurling curses on you...I won't do that ...will allow you to reflect on your deeds
It's not a curse, but an offer to you.
Say Amen to claim it and prove to all that Enyeama should not complain.

guy,its my opinion!!enyeama's role in give us the elusive caf champions' lg as well as the nation's cup is my reason as well his slightly more stable club career as compared for rufai.it's a thing of choice,it has nothing to do with who knows the game better than the other

good for nigerian/african standards but average outside.... watch him in french lique 1 and confirm.... he's not irreplaceable
Th same Enyeama that was on the verge of setting a clean sheet record? In any case, sir, it is in terms of Nigeria that people are referring to him (if anyone actually did) as "irreplaceable" so his status in the French League is not exactly relevant.

Nigerians eh. God help you guys to find tolerance and sensitivity radar before it's too late. Someone lost his mother and you're here saying he is looking for cheap popularity. Cheap Popularity based on what? His mother's death? is that what you would do??

So because you have lost someone so he should not grieve? Are you both twins? Does he know you? why should he care if you do not mourn for your own loved ones? Why're you trying to police his mourning? abi is it because he plays for the national team then he should not have a life outside it?

If some people do not have the means to bury their loved ones how exactly does it affect him and his mother's issue? what sort of comparison is that? Eh! or have you started sleeping on the floor outside your house because a lot of people in Borno have no homes to live in the North because of Book Haram insurgency? or why else do you think he sacrificed most of his life to his profession. jetting from country to country. having sleepless nights and joints ache. It is to have money to take care of himself and also bury his loved ones so he doesn't have to live by the pity of some people.

pls leave him alone.

That's not true. The winning penalty was scored by Obinna Nwaneri. The game was played at the Abuja National Stadium.

Oh Vincent pulleeeaaase! Enough!

This back and forth is tiring. Both of you have attitude problem and I blame both of you for this drama. Oliseh was wrong but being a new boss, he needed to take charge as quick as possible even though he had no personal relationship with many of you. My boss started that way too.

And you Vincent, you don't need to announce you served us well for 13 years. We know what you have done for your country...our country. Don't blow your trumpet. You have retired or resigned, then rest. You have done your best. You are a blessing to the Super Eagles. Now just shut it already and let us do the talking and gossiping. Silence is golden.
His allowed 2 blow his trumpet, obviously is feeling bad about it!
Re: Vincent Enyeama: 'I Quit So As Not To Divide The Nigerian Football House' by usrun:
I have listened to both Olise and Enyama. I can deduce that Olise seems to be smarter than Enyama. And of course Olise as a coach with so much experience is supposed to be so because he has more experience in public presentation.

I personally think that a good manager should always hear his subordinates out to help calm them down. I work and I know how I feel when I am not listened to. Apart from the fact that these guys are professionals, they are also adults. And of course some others who remained calm in that meeting might be asking themselves the question that Enyama would have asked. Why would Olise not explain the reasoning for dropping him knowing fully well that unhappy players are unlikely to perform well in any match. What is happening to Chelsea at the moment is a practical example. A good manager should show some levels of tolerance. In what happened, Olise showed zero tolerance. In offices, if one is demoted or sacked, there will be a letter explaining the reasons for the action. And in other to prevent other employees from feeling threatened, there will be an emergency meeting to explain to people the reason for the management decision. It is the same over discipline that killed Samson Siasia. Asking the security to throw Enyama out is completely wrong no matter his crime. Players disagree with their coaches in their clubs but I have never heard that any of them was thrown out by the security men. We are talking about a captain of team who might even have his followers too.

Olise was not also a saint in his time too. I remember what he and his team mates did in his own time that made NFA to ban them and picked new players to represent us at the world cup.

He said that he did not have any grudge against Enyama but how come he kept on referring to Enyama attitude under different coaches in 2008, 2010 etc. Probably he was disappointed that Enyama would not be in the team for long.

And yes, Enyema did not play for free but how come we keep begging some of our players to play for us instead of other foreign countries. There is a Nigerian player (Kanu) in the national team of Wale. Some of these players feel neglected when they are injured. Whether they are paid or not, they know how others in other countries are appreciated and so they may feel bad if they are not appreciated in the same way. A player who has faced unnecessary challenges in his national team and still honor invitation to play for the same team has served.
