after completing the account creation form then submit. A mail will be sent to your email address through which you will complete your registration and be subsequently able to book for an appointment depending on the available day,you will then go back to your mail and print out your appointment letter which is your pass to the embassy on the appointment day... i will be unfolding the next steps in a couple of days. feel free to ask any question please on what has been discussed so far.

I already have a mexico tourist visa, what is d best route to get to mexico, i learnt they do deport many Nigerian at the point of entry

Bogolly,congratulations. i am indeed happy for you.the BEST route to follow to Mexico is : Lagos-South Africa(J.burg)-Brazil(Sao poulo)-Mexico(Mexico city). NOTE: it's just a flight.this is the best route that will not require transit visa,though may be a bit stressful but will be adventurous for you. tell the travel agent booking for you the route you want. i wish you the very best.

chiefmidwife,well i will not scare you about your getting a job in Mexico as a nurse,with prayers anything is possible. You may however need to get certification and do some courses in Mexico that will enable you qualify.You will also need to find out from a school in Mexico if the certificate you got in your country is transferable. Though nursing is one profession that is mostly taken up by mexicans simply because it demands you are able to speak spanish.

Good day house, let me go straight into the sub-topic we are treating today,PASSPORT : If you are applying for Mexican visa make sure your international passport is still valid for at least 6 months before its expiry date and avoid presenting a dented passport,with dented i mean altered,with cancellations,incomplete etc.

Don't waste your time and effort going to Mexico. There people are impoverished and trying to get to US through the border. The few Nigerians I met in Tijuana are trying to cross the border which is heavily fenced and electronically monitored.

I will not recommend Tijuana for a "JJC" in Mexico. However,there are many other states where one can stay in Mexico good and safe enough for living and work. And for the records Mexico has 32 states and over 2,450 municipalities.The fact is,there are relatively less blacks here and opportunities abound if you are determined, alert and smart.Every country has it's attractions,highbrows areas,slums,ghettos and other issues but in different degrees. "A.C and FAN no be d same" .Above all, every man has a choice to make. the information we provide here is just to help whoever make the right decisions based on the information available to them.

Got your points. I am not against someone travelling but some of the places our people talk about is just unbelievable. Been to Mexico severally and their own people are working for peanuts. Why would a Nigerian wants to join that queue ?. Jumping from fry pan to fire doesn't solve any problem. Plus, hardly you see anyone there speak English. Anyway, for people that wants to go, good luck to them.

this is the official financial requirement for tourist visa :
Provide evidence of adequate economic solvency by presenting any of the following documents:



Documents accounting for an employment or pension allowance with a monthly income equivalent to minimum $500.00 USD, free of taxes, during the last 3 months, as well as proof of stable employment during the last year, or
Investment documents or bank accounts with a minimum monthly average balance equivalent to $1,500.00 USD during the last 3 months, or
Real estate property titles properly registered in the name of the applicant for the last 2 years (minimum) and proof of stable employment for the last 2 years.

Now breaking it down ,

You are actually expected to provide one of these 3 but the embassy prefers in reality the second option which is your bank statement. if you are a seasoned business person and you have heavy transactions being carried out through your account you may not need to worry too much about some of the things i am going to say here except for a few points you have to take note. However if you are not a business person or your business has not grown so large in terms of the frequency of the huge transactions on your account or you dont do business at all don't worry you can work it out.
if you are applying from outside Nigeria please do find out how much the minimum monthly average balance is for your country.

You are expected to present a statement of at least 3 months but i advice you make it at least 4 months so if one of the three months have issues in the running you can easily substitute it with the 4th one.
So now,for Nigerians lets break it down further,lets say the $1500 is 350k 0r round it up to around 400k. Note: the 400k is yours and will still be yours after everything but i advice the money is domicile in your account for the duration of time you will run your account...
