It is a great place to be if you work remotely, but if you intend to work in the country, the most important factor is your ability to speak the language to a functional level.

You could check out the tourism sector for jobs as well.

Tijuana is not a place one can come to hustle, its like a passage to the US. I cant say the same about other Mexican cities but from stories been shared here Mexico is a drug state. the only surviving jobs you can get here is working for the cartel unless you're ready to do that, don't come over here.

Also for someone that want to travel to Mexico for tourist and want to present company’s bank account statement, does the embassy demand income tax and vat certificate from FIRS ?

I am not sure which stage you have gotten to however, if you have gotten to this stage then consular office should be Abuja.
This is because visa related matters are processed and issued at Abuja only.

Create Account and Book separately , you can book for same date, i think the interview time is 30 minutes interval, but i guess you all may be interviewed together.

To all those going for interview at the embassy; make sure you meet the requirements below, so you application does not get refused.

Provide evidence of adequate economic solvency by presenting any of the following documents:

1.Documents accounting for an employment or pension allowance with a monthly income equivalent to minimum $865.00 USD, free of taxes, during the last 3 months, as well as proof of stable employment during the last year, or

2.Investment documents or bank account statements in the name of the applicant with a minimum monthly average balance equivalent to $2,600.00 USD during the last 3 months, or

3.Real estate property deed registered in the name of the applicant with at least 2 years (minimum) ownership and proof of stable employment for the last 2 years.

I can’t book an appointment at the moment, after registering and going on schedule, I chose Nigeria then Abuja but was not able to see any office.
