Hi people,

This is from a concerned person. The spate of boko haram insurgency has been a thorn in the flesh of the Government. I can say it that buhari is treating this boko haram issue with kid gloves. He is only trying to act as if he is fighting because that was one of the promises that got him the presidential throne. During past administrations, buhari never criticized bokoharam, he was so sympathetic that boko haram nominated him as an intermediary for negotiations.

Who appoints a stranger to negotiate on his behalf?

Jonathan and the army were gaining grounds against those insurgents but saboteurs in the north and moles in the army were frustrating his efforts. Now we are here.

Boko haram seems to have grown wings that they have expanded their branch to kogi sate which shares a boundary with Anambra state. This is a cause for concern! In recent times, they have openly launched 2 major attacks from that state. Hence, we easterners need not fold our hands and wait until they come very close.

One thing is certain, boko haram can never have an upper hand in the east because not only are the easterners smarter and can be more aggressive when pushed to the wall, their ideologies can never thrive in the east.

We need to start polishing our arms skills; yes! We need to frown at any suspicious islamic gatherings in the east. In fact, we need to monitor the movements around such gatherings. Border towns to kogi should be mounted by heavily armed men that would thoroughly scrutinize immigrants from that state.

We cannot live to see people with stupid ideologies encroach into our territories! Let us join hands and crush the enemy!

I support the complete annihilation of this faceless group called Boko but that doesn't mean you should call Anambrarians to war!

Anambra and Eastern/Southern Nigeria must not wait till bombs explode before they are battle ready. The call is not to go on d offensive and start attacking people but rather to build up and maintain top-notch intelligence while preparing for any eventuality. Where necessary, preemptive strikes should be taken to ensure that such boko haram miscreants never settle long enough to actually set up n explode a bomb in Igbo land.
