@OP

You have to give the new government some time. Buhari was sworn in at the end of May meaning he has been in power for 4 months out of a mandated 48 months. Ministerial appointments were slow to materialise but I think there were valid reasons for the delay. Ministers coordinate the functioning of every section of Nigeria. Why not give it another 4-6 months of Ministers being in place, and working with the support and backing of the President, before you write off a four months old regime?

I will give an example. You can be a brilliant architect supervising a commercial building project. You may have drawn up an inspired and well-regarded design masterpiece. Yet you will look ordinary if you do not have an equally competent foreman or site manager, in place, who is your link with those who do the real work. It is about hierarchy and delegating correctly. Buhari now has his 'site managers' in place. Get behind him and give him reasonable time to deliver. 4 months is a joke for how severely damaged Nigeria is. Any reasonable Nigeria who truly knows, in detail, the damage the PDP has done over 16 years will realise the challenge the APC is facing and would thus be willing to give Buhari time to reverse this damage so that forward motion can begin.
Yet some of the "site managers" as you put it, were among the PDP that ruled for the 16 years in question.
As a matter of fact, one of them was a chairman of the PDP back then.
You can't throw blames on your enemies when they are still your closest friends!!!!
Or do you understand at allhuh

Nobody told you everything/everyone related to the PDP is bad. Also, has Buhari not unequivocally made it clears he is ready to work with all Nigerians, whether PDP/APC or Christian/Muslim, who now share his vision of moving Nigeria forward regardless of their past? Even Tinubu declared same over the Ikimi issue when he stated that, in the spirit of "reconciliation" and moving Nigeria forward, the APC would not discriminate against anyone wishing to join the Party, wherever they are coming from, as long as they are willing to do things the APC way.

One thing you and others must understand is that, unlike before, these Ministers will be sacked ASAP if they do not perform and do not meet minimum time-limited target set for them. It is a new culture now where indolence and incompetence will not be indulged or tolerated as GEJ did. You can get stellar performance even out of former PDP leaders. It is about a culture of deterrence where there is certain consequences for misconduct or failing to do your job satisfactorily as obtains throughout the world. Abba Moro scammed Nigerian youths and sent several to their death with his fraudulent 'employment' wuruwuru. GEJ did nothing at all. No one will try that under Buhari. Even if they did, then there will be severe consequences for acting in the way Moro did. It is not being a PDP member or former member that is the problem. The problem is acting in a PDP way and getting away with doing that. In short, the problem is the culture of impunity the PDP created which encouraged very bad people to join politics and made even decent folks become bad because they all realise there is no consequence for wrongdoing. The nature of man means that deterrents must always be in place to prevent them giving in to animal instincts.
