Am not new here, I created this separate account for the purpose of this. Met my babe last month. A final year student in on of the uni in phc. Well, we had sex and now she said she is pregnant. Am working and also in school. Am not ready to keep a baby now. I need to finish up my studies and get a better work. I won't want to have a kid that will end up with either my or her parents. I have let her know all these. Surprisingly, babe said she is going to keep the pregnancy. She said she don't mind going to a neighbouring country to have the baby.. Am confused. What could be her motivation to have a baby at 25 and in her final year. Don't know what to do. Your advise pls |

Quick question, how serious are both of you in this relationship? Do you see yourselves getting married or have you decided to get married? I am asking because it seems the girl wants to use the child as an insurance in case you decide not to marry her in the near future or as a means to persuade you to marry her faster. Well since she wants to keep the child, there isn't much you can do about it. I don't mean to sound rude but you brought this upon yourself and you have to bear the full consequence. Since you objected to her keeping the child and she went against your objection, she shouldn't force all the burden of providing for the child's upkeep on you. |

If she insists on keeping her baby,then let her be. U can't force her to have an abortion. Plus,u really don't have a choice,u've got to keep in touch nd face ur responsibilities. Decker:Marriage is not my option now. I still have lots of things to do. I wouldnt want to have a baby that will come and suffer. A baby that I won't be there for. Moreover, my parents won't like it. Well, I have asked her to bring the test result to me to confirm how old the pregnancy is. She came home yesterday without it. I spoke with her on phone just now, and she has promised to drained it. She said is 2 weeks old. |
