He said he was worried that the three arms of government; namely Executive, Legislative and Judiciary were being headed by northerners, leaving the three zones in the Southern part of the country with nothing.

This guy is mad. Then all the past Presidents of Nigeria who appointed Southerners as INEC Chair was southern sectional leader too.

Nigeria has had like 10 NEC chairman since first republic and none before Jega was a northerner.

Can someone also tell him that Yakubu was one the guys GEJ considered for the job in 2011 before settling for Jega.

The Yorubas and Igbos don't know how to play politics and that is the truth. That is why the Northerners and their certificateless illiterates will continue to rule

Igbos were strongly behind Obasanjo, a yoruba man, and Shehu shagari an hausa man, both were sensitive to nigerias diversity and tried to carry everybody along. but yorubas embrace the devil as long as they think Igbos will be affected more

Body language a new lingo in politics .

The body language of Mr. President is giving Fayose and Biafra reason to talk. The elections are over PMB learn from Gowon and try to unite the country by making your government all inclusive. No one from the East? Haba PMB there is God must you wait till only when you have to nominate someone from the East like the ministers. Haba, or you want t jopardize APC's 2019 hopes of coming back. Note withut the east in 2019 you cant be re elected because you wont be contesting against a presidential candidate from the minority south south but against a Kanuri or Hausa or even a Fulani man so the resounding victory you had in the 2015 election wont be possible and the whole north will be split and if the suth south and east and west also give their votes to the other candidate only God will save you from not going to jail.

Be wise and learn now. That was the downfall of GEJ , the whole north felt he was against them even though he tried at the last minute to prove otherwise.

Be wise PMB dont wait before it is too late.

You are missing the point completely.

All past governments in Nigeria have always exercised care to ensure that the electoral body chairman always comes from another part of the country from that of the President or Head of State. Go and check the records, beginning with the late Justices Ovie-Whiskey during Shagari's 2nd republic.

Even OBJ with all his shenanigans respected this convention to assuage the feelings of other parts of the country and to foster confidence in the electoral process.

It is not about balancing. Go and read Fayose's statement carefully again. Right now all arms of the government reside firmly in the hadns of the North, including the election umpire. It has never happed like this.

Under Buhari what we have is:

Executive Arm - North (Buhari)
Legislative Arm - North (Saraki/Dogara)
Judiciary - North (Justices Mahmud Mohammed).

In fact the last 4 Supreme Court Chief Justices of Nigeria have been Northerners ( Katsina-Alu, Dahiru Musdapher, Aloma Mariam Mukhtar, and Mahmud Mohammed)

This is truly scary
