Absolutely yes sir. That was before when Uncle Wale still treading on the path of conscience. The moment he decided not to listen to some top advisers and heading towards securing some unfavorable deals with some greed investors after the COP at the detriment of ordinary shareholders', then one should think twice.
I am sorry, you are short sighted or you lack the inner eyes to see that the guy and his gang had been treading the path of chronic greed and lack of conscience for about 10 years. The worst part is that every year they got better in their stock in trade to the detriment you and i.

Sir, i'm never short sighted or lack the inner eyes. I think we should put an end on this conversation and let Karma has its way. My heart goes to all the ordinary shareholders' of the company.

We are all consistent with our analyses of Oando, except myjoy. But the current circumstantial variables may make some of us to change our analyses and perceptions about the company.

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy A 2nd read of your post after checking the result got me cracking. So Uncle Wale knows there are "matters arising" from this result. Damage control needed on the floor of the NSE. Chai!!!

I am almost sure of one thing though, they have a plan to protect the share price. Hence the need for this meeting. Why schedule a meeting same day result was released? The unfolding events might also give us a clue to the 60M units traded the other day. A big boy couldn't just bear it any longer (my own theory). Forget the corresponding price increase.....that one na O and O gimmick.

feelamong:

clearly Wale and friends were mopping up the shares..
but that cannot save them! how many dem wan mop finish.....
lets see how much loss their 3rd qtr go post make we fixe entry price........buying Oando wan turn to sports betting soon!

I knew there were more to the spikes in volume traded on Oando for the past 2 days. They timed the release of the result and are definitely planning to buy cheap from the imminent panic selling.

Sir, those guys are conscienceless. They will come up with another version of the result in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Quarters. Well, karma in life has no excuses. The top shareholders' had pocketed some millions of $$$$$ leaving the ordinary shareholders in derailed of confusion!
please. Keep quiet

There is nothing cheap in Oando again. When AP went through its own wilderness and sold for about #9 then. There was not much baggage like this with them. See where Forte Oil is now with better management. Oando faithfuls keep hoping. Hopeville in horizon.

So pastor Ihediorama and prophet myjoy08 got bashed heavily today. Never knew glogirl got some venom in her. cheesy Well its part of the fun too.

Back to business;

I was informed by an undisclosed source ( might not be reliable too) that oando result is very bad majorly due to high debt hence the delay and when they eventually release the result, we shouldn't expect much.....Also was told that they may come to the market with another private placement to raise more cash in the nearest future. I expect the current price to come down much further.

PS: This is not a buy or sell recommendation please.
I remembered when I posted this warning last week but as usual no one listened. I was fortunate to have stumbled on an old friend who is an insider......We chatted for long and discussed about several things then oando issue arose and he was very frank to me that the result was very bad and we should expect a heavy drop in price due to oando's bad debt etc. He advised that I shouldn't buy this stock above the N5 price as it is obvious that this coy might go bankrupt..... His further advise was to look for other better stocks like zenith, GTB etc when they are cheap and avoid buying calamity stocks like oando.
One thing I have come to realize is that too much optimism is bad and whenever a coy delays a result for so long, that means that there is something terribly wrong with it....This is why I critize oando the most as the shadiness in this coy is too much and its bad for investment..I hope this coy doesn't go bankrupt one day.

So who and who wan bail out of oando ship?
No way, u can't. Loss of n3 naira per share means u are owing, so u better arrange n3 for very share u own and pay back the company.

Who wan buy these? Even amcon have stopped buying.

On another note, there was magic on Uba today. It dropped to 4.01, immediately I put in my bid, it reversed to 4.15.

You can't trade T-bills online.

It comes every 15 days, just ask you bank when the next T-bills will be coming.

While other companies are releasing Q3 2015 results OANDO PLC will be at the NSE today to address stockbrokers on matters relating to the audited FY 2014 result by 1.30pm. What a way not to run a company. Forteoil already has released her Q3 2015 numbers. Is time for us to say no to impunity in the running of any public quoted company in Nigeria. Mr Wale Tinubu has crossed the line...................
Thank you....This is what I have been saying all these while about oando...I need not say anything as you have said it all..imagine, uncle wale had to go to NSE today to explain the poor crappy result..what a shame..

A company that has corporate governance issues, high debt profile, gross erosion and dilution of investors' wealth, over ambitious and inept management surely needs the grace of God to survive another 5 years. In the fulness of time the undertaker will come for the remains of this company.NB this my own opinion and should not be taken as the fact.
WORDS ON MARBLE, as per Oando.
