bigass:Why? Is he the MD of Oando? Do you base your buying/selling on people's posts here? How scammer? Did you pay him when you had made money from his tips? Have you seen a myjoy recommendation without caveat emptor at the bottom? When things go awry, it should not be blamed on the innocent. your investment, your decision, your money. |

The way you guys took this I don't really like it. What have myjoy08 done to deserve all this. You can't just throw in your hard earned money because someone said something. Did you not see when He posted this? myjoy08:I was waiting for Oando below 8 NGN before I JI, now it's below 5 NGN. ![]() |

[http://www.proshareng.com/news/Investors%20NewsBeat/Shareholders-fund-on-steady-fall-Proshare/28970] Numbers don’t lie. Obviously, the business of OANDO is not profitable for now, while the outlook indicates that the shareholders have been raped (un)knowingly if we are to go by performance of the bottom-line in the last six (6) quarters. And most likely, things are likely to be worse than projected by the recent figures released while we advise a cautious trading of shares. Apart from the poor numbers, we are less impressed with the constant unethical pattern employed/deployed by the firm in releasing its earnings reports in the recent years- this questions its corporate governance integrity. We are of the opinion that delaying audited reports for 10months is like infringing on the rights of investors and breaching the mutual contract with the investing community at large- we remain worried why SEC and NSE treated this unethical act with less sense of responsibility. This may continue to weigh on or deplete the feeble investors’ confidence in our opinion. |

Elai147:You meant he deactivated his account bcuz water don pass garri. Well It's all part of the learning process ![]() I keep telling people in stock business the pessimists most have it than the optimists bcus It's much easier to lose 90% than to make 10%. its all good more especially at this point OANDO is about filling for BANKRUPTCY. I hope UCHESON company will be glad to acquire them at a give away price, nurture it as he normally say and bring them back to profitability in the future. ![]() |

manie:I'm optimistic about the company's Q3 results. The cash raised via the right issue and the sale of 60% of its downstream business for N54billion will reflect in the Q3 result. However, I think this result will activate a sell panic mode obviously, but I think the Q3 will bring on the bulls. |

I think it's just shameful d way people are trying to justify themselves here, going as far as digging up old posts to prove they were right. What does it matter if u posted something in 2012 about oando? I've read through all the posts here since the result was announced yesterday and its been all bashing and self justification, nobody has actually given any analysis of the results or any forward looking statements. I think we should move away from the self justification and start looking forward. Yes we know you called it, you're an expert analyst. Can we now forge ahead please? |

joseph1013:I really feel bad that people have lost money in Oando. But enough warnings were given. I still remember sounding this out as late as 16th October. On a humane note, I hope anyone who is close to myjoy checks up on him. He's not the emotional type usually as I've known him to take insults and rebukes in their strides and even make out of them jokes. For him to have gone to the point of deactivating his account shows something is not right. Depression is a dangerous thing. Someone should check up on him. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by 9free(m): 6:59pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
joseph1013:What's this continuous posts of myjoy and his decision to deactivate his account? Thesame way you decide to buy and sell a stock is also thesame way one will decide to register and deactivate an account on a faceless forum! I tired of seeing repeated post of begging or even members asking people to check on him. If you are so concerned of his whereabouts, then kindly deactivate your account also, check on him and finally reactivate your account and his. Abeg make we hear word.... |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Manonamission: 7:36pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
@Manie, please slow down the rate at which you are digging into our past. Why you dey use our past haunt us nah? These quotes from the past don dey dey too much abeg. Let's move on to other things and leave Oando for now until result is fully digested. I am sure the conference call will throw up more than enough to talk about. Abeg, these your quotes don dey dey 3 much. |

cassimere:Dont be sentimental about this company, things improve when Wale and his cohorts leave the company. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 8:08pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
manie:I'm not being sentimental, I'm being factual. Wouldn't the company's bottom-line improve with the cash raised from the rights and the sale of part of the downstream business? I am invested in the company, all I want is to get the best return, so I support your sentiment about Wale and his cohorts. I raised that issue some months ago on this thread (I'm sure you can dig that out too). The company's corporate governance leaves little to be desired, the earlier a new management team come on board, the better. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by manie(m): 8:25pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
cassimere:Most shareholders did not take their rights, the rights were eventually taken by Wale and his group, the company over-paid for the COP deal, administrative cost is on the side, corporare misgoverance and management recklessness coupled with the fall in prices of crude oil are factors that may adversely affect quick recovery of this company. Creditors may take over this company. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megainvest: 8:40pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
People have lost money and will still lose more on Oando but mark my words some will still make money on this same stock. I have chopped Oando and cleaned my mouth long ago but I know that there is yet more money to be made on this one even with this terrible result. Let the panic selling happen but I will be waiting with my cutlass when the dust settles. I will neither pity for this stock nor get angry with it. This is all part of a very obvious grand scam: This bad result will cause a massive sell down and before you know what's happening another result will show up with some positives enough to swing the stock into a bull run. There is where the money will be made and I think the key to this is the sale of 60% of its downstream business as cassimere has alluded to I have learnt some things in this business and one of them is this: I never love or hate any stock too much not to make money from it without any fear or favour. I am here to make money and I make my money by intelligently following the numbers, the information and my strategy with God giving me guidance all the way. ![]() |
