So I don't want to open a thread but want to discuss regarding our sisters and thirst for equality in EVERY AREAS and I mean every gaddam aspects in everyday lives.. ARE WE TAKING IT TOO FAR?? Mmm

At a Nigerian party, so men are somewhere screaming their heads off while discussing Buhari and Mesi or whatever that soccer guy's name was. While the ladies were somewhere else all caught up in fashion/kids/work/recipie discussions (which was indeed very interesting) .. this particular lady on the other hand was hell bent on staying with her man all night, grinning(fake) at every noise made by these group of men... Guessing she eventually stayed true to herself and left the men with a frown. So after several persuasion from her to leave with her man, he said no. So she left.

What do you make of this?


Some people have this assertiveness when it comes to this Equalty thingy, some of us live our lives like every average joe.. So gotta ask for clarification, Do you find the above party/gathering setting BELLITLING ?

It may not have been an equality battle. She probably isn't/wasn't too familiar with the other wives/women/girlfriends so she just stayed put next to her man. Her man could have kinda hooked her up with one of the other wives/chicks to ease her into the clique.

She's very familiar with all of us my dear , she openly expressed her opinion immediately she saw the setting, she even asked 'why is everybody not sitting together' ? (we all stared her down as in ) I don't want to listen to men yelling in my ears all night when I could have a warm and interesting discussion with ladies like myself.
I'm not a new wife and still do attaché with my hubby oh But I believe there's a place and time for everything.
