Do u expect an hausa girl to do beauty pagents where u get to expose your body and im not even mentioning what they had to do to get to where they are right now, sorry u are making a mistake if u are finding northereners in this, this is trash to them but it seem like glory to you.......and also facing the south west, an average yoruba father would not take glory seeing his daughter half naked on big screen that why I said average so quote me anywhere and that why u see some state in the south west are represented by their indigene which means those parent arent or dont fall in my analysis....so please before u start praising a tribe think about there culture and tradition and what they can go into and take glory for everything....this is absolute trash to many cultured nigerian less your tradition accepts everything which I respect as well....I rest my case.
but prefer carrying bombs underwear?

Shameless people! Nobody forced these beautiful igbo girls to pick up the mbgn form. They are girls confident in their beauty and intelligence. If you are looking for people to blame, then blame the Northerners that hide under the cloak of Religion and Bokoharam and never participate in things others are doing. And blame the South West girls that have no confidence in their beauty. I see no reason why you should blame girls that are free from both religious and traditional bondage who want to represent Nigeria on this platform.

Values differ even among those who have them. We are happy to have you and your sisters represent us, no sweat.

Watching the pageant live....can't wait to see who will emerge as the winner for MBGN 2015. The girls are really beautiful, no wonder our politicians are much in attendance grin

The girls representing Benue, Zamfara & EKitit states are not igbos! At least am sure of these ones.

Omachi (Benue state contestant) is an Igala/idoma name
While Edom & Uduak (Ekiti & Zamfara contestants) are Efik/Ibibio ladies.

I think y dey Ve more Igbos is because
(1)they re the most traveled
(2)they take risk
(3)more friendly...cos out of 6 of 10 Yoruba girls they Ve an Igbo friend.
(4)our parents are learned enough to know DAT this is pageantry and not prostitution.
(6)they put their money where it will yield profit.(they bought the form)

most hausas want to do dis but because of the low mentality of their parent and their so called religion they Neva enjoy social activities, dat is y they re frustrated to the extent of being a suicide bomber, sadist etc.pls u guys should loosen up a little for ur sake, they claim to be so spiritual but yet they re the worlds problem.eg Isis,Osama bin ladin, bokoharam etc.
