They are going for normal business with debit cards

CBN allows only $300 withdrawal Per Day. You need more cards to get enough funds.

Until the Nigerian government lifts the restrictions on deposits into domiciliary accounts, the sort of criminal activities would continue. Not that I support this crime. I still think CBN has not done enough to educate traders. Traders will continue to seek illegitimate means to import their products.

But how is this illegal? You stopped them from buy of dollars through your bank. Now they have another means of transacting abroad you still call it illegal

It may well be but that is not the point carrying a knife in your car is robbery technique that does not make every person with a knife in their car a robber does it?

When CBN Will not allow You Transfer money through normal process.

What do You expect?
My point exactly.

The other day, I could not transfer money to SA for my daughters school health insurance cos " insurance" was not listed in form B. I had to look for someone in SA, pay into his local account so he helps me make the payment locally.

Not to mention the daily limitations on international online card transactions.

Really messed up. Ex cbn boss talked about this last week. They are simply frustrating genuine business men with this approach.

its not, the court will not find them guilty of anything, people be wise,if the cards can be proven not to be stolen then they have no case to answer
if you think out of the Box you will realize they are trying to beat the system o n the daily withdrawal rate of the CBN a law which i think is extremely sill.

Some can't even comprehend what they read. Those men were just trying to withdraw their money abroad illegally though (since govt has restricted money transfer). Its not like they were trying to steal.

The change has started already ,where there is no law there is no sin..Now that people know we have a law enforcer as a leader they will go to any length to sabotage the system..No matter how hard they try the law will catch them. It is high time everybody sit up and cooperate with the Govt to build a great nation where everything works well.

Demmocrats:
wink What if at the end there story checks out.

What if at the end the traders gave then those ATM to help then buy stuffs in China.

Have any of you guys done wire transfer from one bank to another and know the percentage you pay those banks.

Those traders might want to bypass that but it would have been better if they all transferred there money in one account with one ATM assigned to the account.

There is a limit to daily withdrawals from one account. CBN has made transactions very difficult for traders. These guys may actually not be fraudsters, in all honesty.
