stokfrick: Smart people understand why he disabled his account. He did that to erase the audit trail of all his overly optimistic calls on Oando and other stocks. If he hadnt done that, many of you would have dug into his past posts and you know too well the outcome. Well,if you ask me ,I dont think he has ever bought a stock in his life ![]() 7 Likes |

MyJoy don't mind them jare, i personally think he is nice person maybe too optimistic, but he did not force people to buy stock. Purchasing shares is a serious business there is no free lunch DYOR research anytime you buy share. If anybody gives you a tip make sure you carry out enough research yourself. There are sharks everywhere even in UK and US who are after your money,Investors in Alternative Market in London (AIM) lose 90% of their money after IPO.Don't play with what you cannot afford to lose DYOR. 1 Like |

In my years of investment I have made losses but never felt the way I feel right now with the Oando loss. I feel like I was scammed. Dunno how to describe the feeling... WT and his cohorts have no conscience |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mojeer678: 10:05am On Oct 27, 2015 |
megainvest: The breach of the investing public trust by Oando first started by the systematic takeover of the Board. Principled (hence 'uncooperative') voices were first removed to be replaced by lackeys. The open fight drama at the PH AGM in 2007 between WT on the one hand and Jite Okoloko on the other signaled the end of corporate governance in the company. Simply compare the members pre-2007 & post 2007 to see the stark contrast. What would follow is the 'outsourcing' of juicy units of the company to an unknown, inexperienced and just incorporated company called TSL. Oando Aviation (dollar-denominated biz) supply of products within Lagos and environs (very lucrative), PH jetties, trading, et.c were thus carved out. The so-called Shareholders Associations, bunch of self-centered piranhas are also to blame. Once settled, what do you think happens in the pre-AGM cocktails? These hungry desperados are the ones who silence true agitated voices at AGMs, mere charades designed to fool only the gullible. As in banks, there should be a term limit for CEOs of publicly quoted entities. This will arrest to some extent, the abuses that lead to this kind of scandals. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Agbalowomeri: The problem with O and O is not the falling crude oil price, because most local oil marketing survive on local consumption aka Oil Subsidy But- . huge debt ($485M) .Intelligible assets .Administrative cost .Unethical management .Sleeping SEC/NSE |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 10:53am On Oct 27, 2015 |
I think it's just laziness that would let you blame myjoy for your loss...( just thinking differently). Why? Because, i believe we are all learned and informed to be swayed by an anonymous personae online. Any stock you buy or sell should be at your own discretion. Yes i agree he misled people, but that was to those who CHOSE to be misled. I am in Oando with money i sleep with two eyes shut, and i wont blame Myjoy for my buy decision. My opinion. |
