I think the PDp is not making any sense. The committee is clear that since the case is in court they cannot take a position. They can only recommend which can be rejected.

Saraki have to confirm Amaechi. Amaechi is one of the few people that can talk to Buhari and Tinubu about his (saraki) case. Amaechi is the one person that can act as a peace maker between the various factions of APC.

Meanwhile PDP has to use anything in their disposal to stop amaechi's confirmation. It will be a big blow to APC and a huge political gain to PDP should Amaechi fail to be nominated.
