Am a guy of 28 years of age and am seriously in love with a girl of 24years. We met earlier this year and we started dating, since then everything has been going fine in our relationship and we are very compactable but we discovered few months ago that we are both AS. I so much love her that I av not cheated on her since we started dating and am so much used to her and she is equally used to me. We were planning of getting married next year until this issue of Genotype came up and am thinking of still taking the risk of getting married to her cos of the strong love I av for her . Pls ur reasonable contributions is needed here cos I av been thinking abt it and each day my love increase for her. Thank u!

All u both need to do is make so much money, mega money before marriage, I heard university of ibadan and two american universities just found a cure for sickle cell. With time,they will develop the cure well. So give yourselves 2yrs b4 marriage and give birth on the 3rd or 4th year,by then,the whole cure thing would ve been very very successful and confirmed. It will be expensive though,so u will need enough cash, use the 4yrs to make the cash.

Ppl do misinterpret what science said, that the chance of having SS is 1/4 (1 of 4 children). It doesn't mean just one of four children will be SS. What it means; for every conception, the chance of the baby been SS is 1/4.
Sincerely my brother, their r ppl who have more than four children n all of them are SS. And there are some who didn't give birth to SS at all.

Bro, the risk does not worth it, even if it's one SS out of ten.
Even if you have the money to take care of it, please consider the pain you are calling the child to come and suffer on earth. Save you and your wife the stress, and save the child the pain

pls dont try it, u might think u ar so in love now, by the time ur kids start having crisis, that so called love will be no where to be found.
