oh trust me my Broda, this has nothing to do with Google translate.
Go out there...people are learning languages like crazy...ppl are looking for how to improve on their abilities depending on ur career....they run professional courses...go for 2nd degrees...run language courses....even handiwork to improve themselves because its more than just having a job these days.
If u are a young lad, u will nt understand this...unfortunately, this is even d time to get involved since u still av age on ur side(am assuming u do).
Ask ppl like GideonG (dis is ur 2nd degree i suspect), Shekalamin(hope I got the spelling correct)..going for law(as 2nd degree)...IDGAF...(kinda 2nd degree)...and a host of others I cannot mention here. Why do u think they are all doing that?

If u depend solely on your degree, then u probably av an assured job/income outta there waiting for u.

My broda, in my kind of career, u need more than just LL.B to progress.

just what I want to hear... in other news

haa Bros...am really interested. Infact, when I got to Ilorin last month, I went round looking for a school or tutorial center where its been taught...unfortunately....I only found one "Alliance Francaise" opposite Min of Agric around dt GSS roundabout....dy only teach french for like N28K (beginners stage only).

Was disappointed.
I see u re interested in languages too and u re interested in yoruba....is it just for the knowing or for ur career?
I've never thought of it as in the career aspect, I just want to know it...like badly, I really don't know why, but I know I love Yoruba and I learn everyday. I believe before I'm done with Unilorin by the special grace of God, I must have improved immensely.

Can I get a school or tutorial center in Ilorin that can aid that? If not I think I will create time where necessary, to learn french so that in the future I can be able to take my sweetheart to Paris, France "The City of Love" lol

Being a polyglot 's an assured way to success? hmm. just learning that oh. And uhm. Learning a little latin myself. But for the fun of it. just that I'm bad at learning new tongues,I can't speak my LGA's dialect gan.But thanks for the counsel(Or is it?) I'm grateful.

gosh! I never said being a polyglot is an assured way to success but ppl specialise in wat they are interested in to give them a higher edge over wateva they indulge in.

Latin is great...learning for fun u may think.....would come in handy some day.
If u are nt gud wit languages, I think u shouldn't push it. Just look for wat u are good in and wat interest u.
We learn everyday...don't u think.

Wasn't trying to counsel u o(I understand d sarcasm though).
Just av a blast day all the same.

hahaha....sweetheart to Paris...dts classic (i pray this heart desire comes thru).

But more seriously....if u mean a school for french....the Alliance Francaise is a fully established one...with certificate for issuance. Three stages....beginner, intermediary and one other stage like that. They are starting a session on monday...next session is in January.

But if u mean a school for yoruba....I really don't knw. Am nt Ilorin based though. Maybe those dt are could help out. Am still looking for a spanish school too.

Yep....am sure before u finish in ilorin, u would av learnt Yoruba very well(dts if u a an ear for it).

Ok....mine is both for the knowing and for my career.

yhea, bosss.....how true is the first week of Nov am hearing about d list
Well the last time the interviewed Prof. Ambali, he said the second list will come immediately after the 1st list freshers have finished paying for the acceptance fee, so that, they can be able to determine how many more names they can add to the list due to inability of those that didn't accept the offer.

I just believe that the list will be out by next week, because the calendar has already been set, and few other stalites have already commenced lectures. But anything can happen, we can even be surprised that before the end of the day we will have gone passed that stage. God will help us all.
