TonyeBarcanista:I will use the environment around me to grow my business at the expense of the touts and agberos who participated in the one million man march for BUHARI prior to the elections. To be honest I am financially happy Buhari won the elections, because quasi-authocratic command economies are the most suitable environments for get rich quick schemes. As per Nigeria, it will still survive no matter what. |

TonyeBarcanista:we are already in technical recession! By next year we will enter full recession not by wish but, clearly by the facts on the ground. We are experiencing more sectoral decline Q on Q. The worrying side is not actually the inevitability of a recession rather the rigidity of the current leadership. This govt seems bent on being in closet rather than opening up. Many don't understand the looming catastrophe ahead. They keep saying the incoming cabinet will magically turn things around. I pray Buahri listens cos he doesn't get it. It is not about fighting corruption or blame game but, clear and smart thinking ASAP. #pray4Nigeria |

In spite of all these economical problems, our foolish Godwin Emefiele wants to freeze over 25 Million customers bank accounts just because of BVN that is supposed to be a continuos process as it is done in SANE countries. |

OYAY:Are u saying this administration made it possible? Why are we Nigerians ungrateful? GEJ worked on the light issue before they left not this present administration. If GEJ administration is that bad, why is APC doing same things complained about under PDP? Nigerians una never see anything, d worst is yet to come. I rest my case. |

Nigerians never see anything yet. As we all begged for ministers, that's how we will beg for 2016 budget preparation and presentation to the National Assembly by third quarter of next year. Quote me then. |

nigerianvenom:The president said yesterday that he isn't loosing sleep about people like you 1) mtn wouldn't leave nigeria! If they disobeyed our rules they must pay...that's how it's done in civilized countries and it's a GOOD thing for corporate firms to pay taxes and fines right now we need as much money we can get the price of crude has fallen and we must think outside the box 2) ipob and other ethnic bigots are mostly bad loosers as its evident on nairaland, people like Fani kayode was jonathans campaign DG, he lost the election and now is agitating for a break up of nigeria....like I told some one last week "fulani herdsmen kidnapped olu falae so according to afenifere the solution is to sack them out of the southwest" how would we feel if usa or England say Nigerians were caught smuggling drugs into thier country so we must all leave usa etc? 3)the economy is in a bad shape we must stop unecessary childish critisim and work together to make it work! Pdp or apc...they are all responsible one way or the other for the economic collapse |

BBluv2015:Stop mis-informing nairalanders. The president only said there was no such thing as fuel subsidy, he never came out to object the removal. Nigerians, please lets not become alarmists just because oil price is dwindling and we have a dwindling foreign reserve. I believe PMB is about to usher nigeria into a economic eldorado that we have long yearned for. An economy that is to an extent free of incessant looting and stealing. If we can survive 16 years of kleptomaniac looting, we should be able to pull through this one. We should see the drop in oil price as a blessing in disguise as this will force the govt of the day to speed up our race to economic revolution. Oil or no oil, we are about to kickstart an economy that will be the pride of the black race. The govt got off on a right start to a bit slow, but then reality stares us in the face and we will weather the storm. |

BBluv2015:no mind them, Nigerians have chosen to be blinder than bats and have developed selective amnesia! Stop wasting your time trying to convince anyone and leave them to bask in their biasness. They can only blame GEJ for so long. |

IsraeliAIRFORCE:Even with facts and figures, you still can't understand that you are in for a big thing. We warned, but were insulted and lampooned by folks like you. How can a man who was ousted 33 years ago due to his lack of basic economic indices manage an economy in a digital world where he cannot operate his phone not to talk of computer. God doesn't support lies neither does He support conspiracy. Get ready! |

Yanks101:Agreed, we just have to do better. We need stable power supply to drive us forward. Of what use is powering Ghana, Togo, and Benin, while our little industries suffer? OTOH, using Cali as an example is wrong. Cali is technically the 8th richest country in the world by GDP -- higher GDP than any european country bar Russia; maybe Germany and England! Lagos for example holds down 20% of Nigeria's GDP @roughly $100b, bigger than Kenya's, Ghana's, Togo's, Benin's GDP put together -- imagine a Lagos with 24-7 power supply, adequate security, and sensible train network, further bolstered by a country-wide working economy. |

demandtruth:Keep fooling yourself, GEJ has done his bit and left, it is PMB now. No one will and has the moral right to blame GEJ for anything post May 29, the reason we have a new president is because we believe he will do better. My stand point remains clear, when Obama came on board he blamed Bush for the woes he faced, but as time went by he had no one to blame. The time is coming when blaming the past Administration for woes will no longer appeal to any one. |

Did I hear u say All Subsidies Have To Go? No way, it must remain because when President Jonathan said it, d educated illiterate we have in dis country went on street to riot, went on strike, insulted d president and insisted dt it must stay, so why d sudden change? Nigeria never see anything yet, I dey laugh like Obj. Until we tell ourselves d truth, we remain in d same position. Subsidy must stay. I rest my case.
