caukerzee:
Unijos Cognosy lecturers are sadists. How were you able to pass Cognosy successfully? Been a real problem for me.

Hello colleagues, I am thinking of starting up my own premises very soon. What factors do I have to consider in my choice of location? I know the chosen location has a huge effect on the success of the business. Is it preferable to get a location at a residential area or business area? Please, I need tried and true responses not theoretical analysis. Thanks.

Any Pharmacy student or Pharmacist in the building? Here is a question for y'all: What comes to your mind when Trichomes is mentioned during Pharmacognosy lecture? What comes to your mind when Hervasian canal, Voksman canal and canaliculli are mentioned during Anatomy lecture? What comes to mind when two spinal reflex is mentioned in Physiology class?

well it seems pharmD has more emphasis on patient oriented pharmaceutical services, clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care, hence the extra year making it 6yrs insted of 5yrs,in terms of pharmacy practice in nigeria i dont see much difference,Bpharm and pharmD have the same salaray scale, for me a pharmacist is a pharmacist wether Bpham or pharmD %%%

The Pharm.D programme is a more clinically oriented programme when compared with B.Pharm .
The future trends in pharmacy education is that the Pharm.D programme would soon be implemented as an undergraduate programme in all universities in Nigeria where pharmacy is offered.
In the nearest future, the Pharm.D programme becomes it MAIN thing and people with B.Pharm degree may need to do a 2-3 year conversion course to Pharm.D so as to remain relevant in the Pharmaceutical World...

Moreover a graduate with Pharm.D is a Doctor of Pharmacy..and the name goes as Dr(Pharm) Enoch.......that would be nice

Hello All. I'm new on this thread, but why do I feel shy # covering eyes#. As men of honor, we join hands. I wouldn't want to say my name here on nairaland. Pardon me for that. I graduated from Unijos in 2011. Life as a pharmacist has been fun and encouraging. I love what I do.
My best course was Pharmaceutics. It was just so real and interesting. I didn't like Pharm Chem, but I later fell in love with the aspect of Medicinal chemistry.
More to come......
people from your school that I know love @'ceutics..
