Am using Dr Z and his price breakdown is similar to that of Dr F

=firsttymum post=39715053]Dr Z still takes patients o.
A neighbor here is using him.. And a church member too.
But I noticed his present prices has seriously changed from what we use to know here.

Will post his costs breakdown when she puts to bed.
Ziworotin is different from Zimmerman.

Zimmerman doesn't use oakbend

@ Tobermom, hope your bags are packed, each weighing 23kg to avoid going to the airport and transferring items from one bag to the other angry even your hand luggage shouldn't be overweight cos these airline peeps eyes dey red o. Dey weigh hand luggages too. Leave for the airport at least 3hrs to your flight, make sure you don't stand on that long checking in line, follow the wheel chair/ disabled pple line lol. The American drama/ dream Hv been achieved. Safest trip to you and baby as you make it back home. grin

Always wanted to mention this, but keep forgetting.

For those flying Delta, they have a check in luggage of 4 bags/ items per adult ticket. So if you have extra luggage, it's better to increase the weight of each bag than buy extra bags. They also consider stroller and car seats in calculating maximum of 4.

The bad part of it is that they may not tell you until you've reached the maximum at which point you may not be able to rearrange your bags that have already been sent in.

Thank God my sister was with us, don't know what we would have done with the last bag we couldn't check in.

How much will you pay for the bags with extra weight? Guess not same $200 for extra luggage.

I think BA is the friendliest when it comes to women with babies with excess luggage. I dint pay an extra dime despite the fact that my two bags were overweight.

Infact the guy asked me to check in my hand luggage for free so all I had was my baby bag

Another friend said the same as well

See eh. I thinnk the isue would be, does this hospital receive grants, aid or any form of fiduciary assistance from any body? Which now makes their prices low?
To be on the safe side, IMO use a reasonable priced hospital for visa purpose so u don't tick off the vo that u are going to undirectly benefit from the system

In other matters, i had my baby on the 22nd oct. Was discharged on the 24th . had her paed visit on the 28th , settled our bill on the 29th ( it still stood at the 6500, only addition was 275 for labs) Got the short form of her BC from the office of vital records on the 30th. Applied for us passport same day but was asked to collect on 2nd nov. Applied for naija passport 2nd nov and collected both passports on the same day. Also ssn came in by mail yesterday. So with this, My american dream/ journey which has had its fair share of highs and lows is coming to an end. I leave for naija on friday. Yay!!!! Baby will be 2 weeks 1 day ( i told you ozycy that you are my mentor wink . i cant wait to hold both my babies, ive so missed my 5 yr old and im glad his crying spells wil

Safe trip back to Naija. Kindly assist me with contacts to Naija visa office (did you use an agent? If yes contact plus & what's d charge). The hospital informed my wife she can now head to county for the BC and I need to see if she can @ least tidy up both US passport & Naija visa office after picking d BC today & possibly wait for collection next wk. Cos my Aunt took out some time from work to assist her but she is resuming on Monday.

Once more, thanks for all your assistance.

[quote author=isysleek post=39734609]Morning house, please those that live in Abuja, which hospital can you recommend for children. Please help

Try Fereprod, Nisa, Diff, federal staff.

If it is an emergency never try National, Garki, Maitama General ( although these hospitals are good too but their protocol, hmmmm)

That's the only reason I keep flying BA..they are very Lenient with over weight bags and always offer to check in hand luggage for free without even weighing it

Emirates was also quite generous with me, I had to beg small sha. But I had one unforgiveable bag o! Over 30kgs, so I pd $50 extra, didn't pain me too much, I thought they would penalize for all the bags.
Baby had 5kgs hand luggage and one 23kg bag
I had 7kgs hand luggage and two 23kg bags

I also carried a diaper bag and my handbag (very stuffed)

Medicaid is quite a process, it is not easy to get it.
Infact, you can't get it as some hosps becos you are a foreigner. Paperwork upon paperwork.

So your non profit hosp may depend on just depend on charity from some very rich people, but not to worry. As long as you pay your bills and get your zero balance and receipt. You are fine

Modified;
But just like Lady G sed, if it is for visa, it is not advisable to use the quote, so it doesn't work against you

Doesn't your baby's ticket include a 20kg bag and stroller/car seat or is this part of the 4 too?
I'm asking cos I flew with my 2 suitcases, paid for an xtra suitcase and then my daughter had a small suitcase and I check in her car seat and stroller too.
We're flying again in December and plan to do the same.
