my fear for long distance marriage stems out of real life issues of close people. I know of someone whose husband will just not come back. Like he comes once is 5 or 6yrs. Seriously?? Aside sexual deprivation (which by the way can't be over emphasised) , what of friendship? Boredom and all that come with real life relationships ? I'm kind of communal in nature, I love family and friends as close as they can be to me. I can't b sane in that kind or relationship. It will be torture!! That's y u're golden in my eyes. I appreciate people that do things I can't do. Strong woman!

You are right, it is not an ideal situation but if it is temporary it is manageable.

He doesn't come back because he doesn't want to. It has nothing to do with long distance. If he loved his wife, he would make it home as often as possible or she would already be with him abroad. I don't know the circumstances surrounding this case but I know that some people marry women to please their family and that is why they are not really interested in the marriage.

yes oo, I understand him perfectly. I'm a family person, very communal. That is why relocating abroad hasn't even crossed my mind. I will be bored to death. Lool. Vacations, visits and very short courses are ok... But leaving my family,friends and life to go start another... Hmmm
