If you're a girl then you've probably been in a situation where a guy walked up to you and said some really funny stuff just to get your number. Personally I don't use pick up lines and I don't like them. So,the questions I'm asking are;

I have said this before and I will say it again.
Only naïve girls would take guys who use pick up lines on them seriously.

Pick up lines are for douche-bags who are either low on confidence, shy, or ignorant.

If for anything, pick up lines sells you off as unserious, and if they don't come out right, you come off as silly. It also gives the girl the impression that your encounter was rehearsed.

If I want to woo a girl, all I'd have to do is walk up to her in a confident and respectful manner, introduce myself, compliment her looks and start up an interesting conversation.

What a girl notices when you first meet her is your looks, your confidence, self-comportment and how freely and intelligently you can interact with her, not lame, rehearsed, over recycled lines.
