My Brother OKonjo Iweala is not your mate, your forefathers and your generation is yet to produce an intellect of such capacity.
So kindly shut ur mouth.

of what use is intellect that is misused? Okonjo had my respect under OBJ, that respect was increased when she resigned from OBJ's govt. But she disengaged the intellect under Jonathan, became a sellout. Of what use was her intellect to us if she failed to foresee what was about to happen to the economy and plan ahead, of what use was her intellect if under her our foreign reserves dwindled? Of what use was her intellect while there was so much fraud while she was the coordinating minister for the economy, probably the most powerful person in government after Jonathan and Diezani? Look at the mess she left behind.

I'm sorry but Ngozi played around with pigs and soiled herself and if Adeosun does the same, I will say the same of her.

This is a quote from Obasanjo (make of it what you may because we know Obasanjo is a man of mischief"

"But take Ngozi (Okonjo-Iweala), who worked for me. And who worked competently for me. Because I know Ngozi’s weaknesses, but I know her strong points. Her strong point is technical competence. But Ngozi needs to be led and to be supervised. Now will you comment on Ngozi who worked for me as the same Ngozi who worked for Jonathan? Will you? But it’s the same person."

she doesn't need to beat the former minister of finance. Mrs NOI with her doomed, charlatan, mountebank and swindler economic policy has brainwashed so many economic ignorant fellows in Nigeria hence, subjecting us to think that we are the largest economic in africa while this fallacy assembled by NOI and her lame economic team doesn't reflect in our system. It didn't change individuals' dispoable income, it didn't reflect on our per capita income, it didn't change our standard of living. Pdp is a cancer to Nigeria and the ealier we realise this, the better for us

stop talking crap. Tell me what job George Osborne has ever done in his life.
He has been a politician from birth yet he is the Chancellor of the Exchequer for her Majesty's govt.
I am not asking for mediocre to be appointed but enough of this CV talk.
We had a PhD holder who could not inspire confidence in anyone apart from his sycophants. He was so bad that we willingly embraced a barely literate Buhari and I doubt he will do worse.
We had NOI with all her degrees and bulging CV yet our foreign reserves was almost emptied and we see nothing for it.

It is not like the Adeosun lady is a police officer being entrusted with our economy. She is a financial expert as relatively thin as her resume may be. Let us cut her some slack. If she fails I will join to castigate her. It is not like APC are the first to fail. We are used to failing with PDP. After running the race we will count the miles. We will call the score card for APC in 2019.
Comparing the chancellor of the exchequer to the Nigerian minister of finance both in influence and authority is just wrong.
Btw,I definitely don't want her to fail. My first post was about seeing how she would perform with time before some miscreants quoted me.
And yes, I would rather bank on a more solid resume. It is the most trustworthy qualification there is.
The Nigerian reserves and its economics befuddles the mind. The country exports virtually only oil, and yet is maintaining a very high naira-dollar ratio, with its legislators among the highest earners in the world.
Ofcourse, the reserves would take a beating. And we should not forget that the reserves rose to a record high of atleast $56b under NOI before dropping with alarming speed with the drop in oil prices.
The country is structured wrongly, and there is only so much a minister of finance can do and a relative green horn like adeosun even makes the prospect grimmer.

I have no problem with her being Yoruba.
I like fashola. He is corrupt, but still has some brains cells and proven track record with respect to Nigerian standards.
Atleast I believe he can kickstart Nigeria to begin her march into second-world status. That is the highest rating I have given to any Nigerian politician.

What do u mean. Is Okonjo an Island? Is she a born-economist? Kemi Adeogun can surpass her by far if she focus on the right areas.
Okonjo could not even perform optimally because of the corrupt environment she found herself then. If you agree with me, a lot of her initiatives were frustrated and rubbished by corrupt officials all over in that administration.

Less than 6 months after NOI left, APC, Buhari and all their noisemakers couldn't keep the country afloat. Do you need anyone to tell you how much she was good keeping our economy from recession?

kemi Adeosun is not fit enough for that position....way to small. Talk of exposure, profile, on

Kindly define what you mean by a more solid resume?
Why is it wrong to compare the chancellor and the minister of finance. The fact that the chancellor has more authority and influence makes it more damning that Mr. Osborne has never had a proper day job in his life, not to talk of a finance job. A Modern history graduate for crying out loud!!
The talk about the structure of the country is a different matter entirely. I actuall agree with you, in fact I think the country is structured to fail.
I was telling a friend this afternoon that, the only thing holding Nigeria together is the greed of the political class. It is the same thing that will push it over the cliff.
