He has been a politician from birth yet he is the Chancellor of the Exchequer for her Majesty's govt.
I am not asking for mediocre to be appointed but enough of this CV talk.

We had NOI with all her degrees and bulging CV yet our foreign reserves was almost emptied and we see nothing for it.

It is not like the Adeosun lady is a police officer being entrusted with our economy. She is a financial expert as relatively thin as her resume may be. Let us cut her some slack. If she fails I will join to castigate her. It is not like APC are the first to fail. We are used to failing with PDP. After running the race we will count the miles. We will call the score card for APC in 2019.

What do u mean. Is Okonjo an Island? Is she a born-economist? Kemi Adeogun can surpass her by far if she focus on the right areas.
Okonjo could not even perform optimally because of the corrupt environment she found herself then. If you agree with me, a lot of her initiatives were frustrated and rubbished by corrupt officials all over in that administration.

Comparing the chancellor of the exchequer to the Nigerian minister of finance both in influence and authority is just wrong.
Btw,I definitely don't want her to fail. My first post was about seeing how she would perform with time before some miscreants quoted me.
And yes, I would rather bank on a more solid resume. It is the most trustworthy qualification there is.
The Nigerian reserves and its economics befuddles the mind. The country exports virtually only oil, and yet is maintaining a very high naira-dollar ratio, with its legislators among the highest earners in the world.
Ofcourse, the reserves would take a beating. And we should not forget that the reserves rose to a record high of atleast $56b under NOI before dropping with alarming speed with the drop in oil prices.
The country is structured wrongly, and there is only so much a minister of finance can do and a relative green horn like adeosun even makes the prospect grimmer.
