zimoni:I am praying that each region is given its freedom to run things by itself so that the SW can use the renewable energy kind of tech to give us steady and affordable electricity. The renewable energy thingy is generally defined as energy that comes from resources which are naturally replenished on a human timescale. These resources are sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. Renewable energy replaces conventional fuels in four distinct areas: electricity generation, air and water heating/cooling, motor fuels, and rural (off-grid) energy services... |

WIZGUY69:I do hope this project would be executed using the red earth-compressed traditional method of building, we spoke about in the earlier pages. And they should engage good architects that would provide imaginative and affordable designs, not the lacklustre, bland design that characterises govt-built estates all over Nigeria. They could also use the clay bricks manufactured at Ire in Ondo State to build these houses. There are two different types of brick available in Nigeria. The first type is the compressed laterite brick, which is manufactured by pressure on a type of red soil found in abundance across 80 percent of Nigeria. Laterite bricks may be produced on a small scale, or even on-site, and require very little energy input in a nation where shortage of industrial energy is a major concern. The second type of brick is the baked clay brick, which is kiln-fired and requires greater investment and energy input. |

I just saw the ministerial list - not bad. I knew we'll get the finance ministry. They took aviation like I predicted. Who's the attorney general? |

Not really feeling Fayemi as solid minerals minister. That guy should be somewhere in international relations, an ambassador somewhere, foreign affairs, or an adviser in the military. And I've got mixed feelings about throwing Fashola into the bottomless pit of the ministry for power. The man is being groomed to rule Nigeria and that ministry can ruin him. Does he have what it takes to do it? - I don't know. Scary. |

Good morning! Aareonakakanfo:Song already composed. Waiting for platinum status. Congrats to all my lovely beautiful smart Yoruba ministers. But there's no pride in your work if you neglect the SW/ Yoruba interest. Fashola, don't forget Lagos state. Kemi, don't forget Ogun state. Omoleye, don't forget Ondo state.Fayemi, don't forget Ekiti state. Isaac Adewole, don't forget Oyo state. Remember your heritage: Oduduwa. |

This flag design is a nice concept except for few things. The colors. In Yoruba spirituality all colors are used but three stand out for cosmic representation and should be adopted as our national colors, instead of the four bands here - Osun, Red Efun, White Aro, Blue Cowries. Whats the significance of the seven, why not sixteen?

Proud of Kemi Adeosun (I hope I got her name right). She has her work cut out due to how the women before her messed up the Nigerian economy with voodoo economics and magical numbers - and the ever reducing oil prices. |
