I had also expected Madam Tinubu to reject her committee chairmanship since she is been deputized by Stella Odua, which invariably means Stella will preside in her absence.

So who presides when the SP is not disposed? The majority leader? We should be playing irrelevant politics here; the DSP is backed by the constitution to preside whenever the SP is not present. You should balme APC for not playing their cards right by not being present when the election of the DSP was conducted.

That's the tragedy APC would have to learn to live with,courtesy of Saraki's self centered ambition to become Senate president at all cost,ignoring his party's well articulated guidelines and democratically derived decision.

An opposition party can have majority members in the senate(like in the USA,etc) and therefore presides over the senate,but this is not the case here:

I wonder o. If Tambuwal could continue presiding over the FHoR and had the backing of APC, what stops Ekweremadu from enjoying the same privilege.
