We don't even bother to clean up, hall admin will deduct cleaning expenses from the damage deposit.Wetin. r231:Arugbo party kini, yes abroad I reckon with but Naija. a dear friend invited us to her dad's bday. The card said 4pm. We got there 10 minutes early. The were just starting decorations. I over heard someone talking about the people who went for the goat meat are on their way. We drove around and 25 mins.... still nada happened. We zoomed away. I told hubby you can come back me I need to sleep. I heard they didn't start till 11pm and from the video, it was a very nice celebration. But me no want chop goat meat at 11pm. I don't like waiting. 4pm should be 4pm. Ewuro4: |

armyofone:These abroad people sef!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't imagine eating food in the middle of the night. It seems it's the norm in many parts of the *abroad* Night parties have long ceased in Lagos.... No point parrying and losing your valuables on the way home ![]() |

Ewuro4:Are there poppy police in Canada too? As in those people who insist that you must wear a poopy on your coat or jacket all November if not you don't 'appreciate' the armed forces? Its getting annoying in the UK. I have given more than £5 to the Royal legion this month ( kids school and work charity drive) but the way the media moans and moans about prominent people who choose not to wear a poppy is annoying. |

armyofone:Thank you jare. we plenty wey like our sleep. LOL. and you are right 4pm should be 4pm. I am beginning to have less and less patience for 'African Time'. I have told my pastor once sef i know holy spirit leads but abeg 10am to 12.30 am service should not be over running to 2pm abeg. I have reached kiddie party that was meant to start at 4pm and we got there at 4pm they were still blowing balloon. mscheww |

damiso:This is why I gave naija churches a wide berth a long time ago. My beautiful Oyibo church, service starts at 10.30am, we are done by noon and there optional tea and coffee for another 15mins. Sundays are depressing enough than to spend half of the day at church abeg ![]() |
| Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by armyofone(m): 7:35pm On Nov 12, 2015 |
you no fit do ball room dance with Belle filled with late meals. I love goat meat ba je ba je but not the 11pm goat meat. Why not just say 11pm right away...i just don't get it. naijababe: |
| Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by Nobody: 12:42pm On Nov 13, 2015 |
damiso:Haha My Pastor put a break on that, sermons no dey exceed 30-45mins for a service. If you say Holy spirit dey lead and you over extend your time media guys go mute your mike. People should be reasonable and consider other peoples time. |
| Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by damiso(f): 12:48pm On Nov 13, 2015 |
Salsera that is such a great idea. Our own media too have this red flashing thing that comes up on the projector when sermon is over but some of those 'big' guest ministers no dey respect themselves sometimes. |

naijababe:Some Naija churches have changed with timeliness. In my place if I leave home 6.30am for 1st service I'm home by 9am. So that's 2and a half hours incl of 1hour travel to and fro church. Only mid week services are long but that's because they are also prayer times and communion. My mum attends Baptist and they have improved over the years just one Service 8.30,to 12noon inclusive of 1hour bible study. It maybe a Black thing to be tardy though. I hear Black American churches are long. Maybe because blacks tend to be more social with Church. |

naijababe:You know Oyinbo( brits especially) can like to keep to time so it must affect church too. LOL |
| Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by damiso(f): 1:01pm On Nov 13, 2015 |
salsera:Yeah I guess so. God forgive me on days I have stuff to do I just sneak out before Grace because I don't want to spend another 30 mins greeting everyone |
| Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by Nobody: 7:34pm On Nov 13, 2015 |
salsera:Abeg where is this church? This is the kinda church I want to be attending. @ Damiso, I used to attend my local Redeemed Church, sometimes we'd still be at church at 2.30pm ..................omo I had to ba ese mi soro kia kia ![]() |

naijababe:See her... Illuminati girl. Depart from me ye worker of iniquity. Running away from church. In my church, any time we go to ori oke we spend like 5 days in there. Just 2hrs she can't fit stay. |
| Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by armyofone(m): 8:57pm On Nov 13, 2015 |
