mechy: We don't need them. Can you grab a slimy eel? No you can't, that's what they are. You can't have them in any deal except they as the lords. Look at how Clark threw GEJ under the bus or Boro after being made union president. They are treacherous! They should go form their Ijaw/ Edoid group and kill themselves with treachery there. 4 Likes |

akthedream: What I see is a disconnection between the old Ikwerre people and New young Ikwerre people. While the old Ikwerre view of the world is narrow and a bit fixed. The world wide view of the young enlightened Ikwerre is broad and malleable. Why do you think Chibuzo doubts what his father told him about his ethnicity? It's simply because of his inability to reconcile what his father told and is still telling him, with what his deductive reasoning is telling him. Chibuzo can sell his Ogoni friends he grew up with, with Ikwerre language, yet I was an Igbo man, fresh from Enugu, and I could hear and understand his language, and not only that, he( chibuzo) understood my Enugu central Igbo too. His educated and literate mind is already telling him that his father is wrong, but for the sake of respect he has for his father, he remains indifferent towards accepting the Igbo tag. 5 Likes |

Obiagu1: Fact Even the yorubas created a Yoruba thread and Igbos avoided it like Egyptian plague even though we could have invaded it like the miserable yorubas on nairaland always do on Igbo threads but we did not go to their thread because we don't give a fork. Let these edo and Ijaw things go and create edo/Ijaw whatever and am certain no Igbo will give a fork. 4 Likes |

I'm also from the so called SS (an Igbo from Egbema, Rivers state to be precise), and I have every right to be here, or you think this is the old Rivers state where you Ijaw hijacked everything to yourselves. Like someone told you confused clowns, go and create an Ijoid-Edoid thread and we won't be there. BTW, when are you going to be a niger deltan? Confused foool 3 Likes |

I'm urhobo and I align full time with the Biafran cause. There's nothing like Niger Delta. It's so mixed a region that it's best to pit our collective efforts under one umbrella. Though some may not agree with me but like I maintain even if the Biafrans are interested in our resources it's better having them plundering us than having the Yorubas and Hausa combining to fleece us. Tonyebacarnista, Truckpusher, and other Niger Deltans, I beg to disagree with your stance on this issue. It's a shame we cannot come together under an umbrella to fight a common cause. What are we to benefit from negotiations with the federal government? Isn't it clear we're just the golden hen that lays the eggs and there is no way we can have full resource control in a united Nigeria? Pipelines are drawn from our villages to Lagos and Kaduna and the biggest refineries are built there. Dangote is building a refinery in Lekki. Who do they employ? The Yorubas and the hausa while our youths are contents with peanuts. And now there's a growing movement which we can align to and break free from these shackles and you say we're Niger Deltans?? We should not make the mistakes our parents made. They were deceived due to lack of exposure and ignorance, and that's the price we pay. Niger Deltans are not politically matured to fight a cause. Too many useless self serving leaders we have. And it's established we are minority. A better strategy is to align with a bigger movement which is Biafra. The worse case scenario is having a country and be controlled by the Igbos which I so so highly doubt or continue being the slaves we are in Nigeria. The Yorubas and hausas already have a bond. It's time for Niger Delta to align with the Igbos and present a united front. At worse we get a review of the Nigerian structure. No offences made and non taken. I just made my point. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Obiagu1: True. It's now obvious Ndiigbo can't form any union with Ijaws and Edoids . The Edoids are empire builders, they are used to being the top dogs , terrorising weaker neighbouring groups exploiting them and installing stooges that paid them loyalties. After the colonials came, they became reduced to minorities, a status they are not used to, seeing as they are used to lording it over others, the Igbo population scares and intimidates them and makes it clear to them that they can't ever be lords again, if they should share a region with Ndiigbo. Being oppressors and exploitation masters themselves, the Edoids see in Igbo, what they see in themselves , and nothing Ndiigbo do will ever cure them of that fear! "Ogbu nma ekwe ka nma fee ya azu"~ an old wise Igbo saying. The Ijaws have problem with land, most of them are no longer comfortable with their swampy lands, majority of them are now living in Upland Igboid areas of Rivers state. They see the Igbos as a threat to their push for more lands, the more Igbos migrate from SE to upland Rivers state areas in search of job. The Ijaws need to get the Igbos from SE out of the picture, they fancy their chances of land grabbing against the Igboids than against the hordes of Igbos from SE. These agenda by Ijaws and Edoids can never be changed or wished away, the earlier we accept it for what it is, the earlier we moved on. 8 Likes |

kel4soft: They have every right to be here as you. Since you land thieves have been on this forum trying to rewrite anioma, oyibo, egbema, etc history, likewise claiming territories that v isn't yours and had the f2kibg audacity to tell us, SS Igbo's, to leave our ancestors land and go back to SE so you f2kers can steal our lands.. I'm f2king glad they on this page saying the truth about you people. I've been telling them this for years but they didn't listen. Now they are seeing it for themselves Despite mulattoclaro is a corward yoloba that I long busted, this shows that nigga got no shame, but anyway, I'm glad he opened this thread. Finally my SE bros eyes don open. Even obiagu eyes is open. I'm excited as f2k right. @ pazienza, there's also an article which I think you'll be interested. I can't find anymore but once I find it, I'll cc you on it. It's actually about an oyigbo indigenous addressing the ijaws based on the amnesty. The guy said and I quote that the ijaws were the only ppl that got the amnesty money, noone else, since the ijaws claim they, ndoki's, are ijaws then how come he and his people were not giving amnesty money as well. He said when he went to address the ijaws on this says fact, this people said and I quote that they ndoki are Igbo and they only clarify ndoki ijaw just for political reason. Literally that was what the ijaw elder told that ndoki dude. I swear you should read that article. Once I find it again, I'll post it on NL and cc you. 4 Likes |

Pazienza, Eurobomber, Obiaju1 and the other Igbos on this thread should be ashamed of yourselves The Niger Delta have a right to congregate on Nairaland and discuss their own interests. You have invaded this thread out of envy and your anger that they have decided not to heed the Biafra call. This is very shameful. I dont see Niger Deltans invading the various Igbo and Biafra threads on NL. Why cant you all respect them and let them be This is extreme bullying and it is so sad and unacceptable This is cowardice!! You dare NOT TRY THIS RUBBISH ON A YORUBA THREAD BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES Can the mods come and clean the thread and let the Niger Delta discuss in peace 3 Likes 1 Share |

Chidozieude: You should be ashamed of yourself , bearing an Igbo Moniker when you are not Igbo. Niger delta in Nigeria involves Abia and Imo, SS involves Igbo people too. SS is not recognized in Nigerian constitution, and furthermore this is an open forum, everyone has right to comment on any thread, which is why Ijaw, Edoid and Yoruba elements have been commenting on Biafran threads, that was supposed to be strictly for Biafrans, the OP of this thread being a major culprit. If this thread was named Ijaw or Edoid thread, then I would have been wrong to comment here. 5 Likes |
