He dated you for years. Surely, he told you he wants to marry you, and you also love him enough that you've accepted within yourself that your relationship is leading to marriage.
Boom... one day, he gets down on his knees and proposes, and you scream or mutter "Yes" and burst into tears.
Eeerrrmmm, Nne wetin dey make you cry?
Say you no expect marriage again or you thought it wasn't leading to it again?
I still can't understand the reason behind the crying ish. Tears of joy, perhaps.

Dear Men, what's the origin of ring sef?
Must you propose with a ring? Why not try bracelet, bangle, watch, necklaces etc. Something that she'll hold dear to, even after the wedding.
And if you must propose, make sure you're ready for introduction and other marital rites within 3 months. Don't use a ring to tie your lady down and keep her waiting for 6 months and years. That's sheer wickedness.

Dear hubby, please don't bother proposing cos I'm not a fan of it. Thank you.
Left for me, if you must give her a ring - do that after dowry payment.

Ok. I've seen ladies who like it calm too. B4 then I always think all ladies like lively men who talk actively and make them laff then they'll say "oh he's romantic" until I met a lady who said she likes n prefer the calm guys who have the gentle and mature look.
