Well thats for the babalowo cult, it still has nothing to do with our African traditional beliefs in general...i pointed out it has to be for minor cults wink

Yes the science is a simple case of chemical reaction, so initiate or not it will work for you if you get it right..
The initiation stuff is just to show how much the rain making stuff is much of 'medicine' in yoruba land, any activity that can be carried outside the babalawo circle is not oogun. Most people confuse herbalists, with the real native doctors.

Why not.. cheesy mind you i don't need cover cloth disappear kind of magic trick... i want .. face to face i deh look you disappear type..wink

For sure bro, you will see it first hand.

That thuderbolt is actually real and it's got three specific types of funny death only, not some wide guess on random demise.
I learnt from you, thanks for your posts.

What nonsense are you just saying up and down? Herbalists, native doctors. .
What is your idea of herbalist? Any more than herbs? I hope you know that herbs are just plants? So why all this unnecessary "spiriti" stuff?
I know spirits are involved in everything natural, and what you call supernatural is actually perfectly natural or it isn't real but don't over do it with the reference to spirits cus thanks to christianity and also local superstitions people now misunderstand "Spirits"

Anyway, initiations are like enrollment. . U know how you do certain stuff to enroll in the university. .initiations are the ancient way it was done
When initiated, you belong to a creed, gain access to loads of secrets.

Those who aren't fully initiated are like quake, non specialists, lacking in creed, often rebellious and greedy, with them anything goes

I assume you spent at least 12 years in school. Correct? So, you must have had a few science classes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So?

So, I assume you've also seen those "rainmakers" you're so elegantly talking about in action? I have seen them - twice in Epe and several times during my university days in Ogun State - the whole contraption they use usually fits in less than half a sq/meter.

And here's where my question about your education comes in - if you know anything about rain and the way it forms you'll know it has to do with cloud (which is a JSS3 topic). Now, rainmaking requires cloud seeding, which requires a very healthy amount of work than burning incense.
