Oh no. How immature people think. I,m not the first person to say Unilorin has admitted up to 70% of her quota. The VC said that and I just confirmed it from the department... My assumption, if 70 have been admitted from rems and 30 remaining, definitely first and second batch would fill it up and there may not be third batch...I never knew some peeps are here waiting for the 3rd batch and the likes picked offence against what I said... If that has ridiculed you in any sense or you feel it,s story for the gods then I humbly apologize and pray the Lord who did ours will do yours too. We,re here to rub minds together and encourage one another. And that,s exactly what we,ve been doing......My blue inks,s exhausted.

thanks for responding, but how sure are you or any concrete evidence before I embark on it. thanks as you help
For ur O-level, u are required to have credits in Maths, english, physics, and two other science subjects. For ur Jamb, u can choose a combination of Maths, english, physics and chemistry (U can replace chemistry with any other science subject). Check ur Jamb brochure for more details about it.

I wanted to obtain JAMB form before but I paused to find out so that I wont just waste money, time and energy, I was even thinking of writing another SSCE exam just to secure Biology because I dont like changing to another course, I already have Diploma in Computer Science so I'm planning of approaching with both UTME and Direct Entry.
More info shall be appreciated.

bluntly nd unequivocally speaking being a chattered accountant doesn't warrant to have such enormous discrimation for a course u claimed being drilled nd learned. Upon.........dats from ur own perspective managing can be inbuilt thing but will be just too archaic nd crude without having skill acquisition what do u expected to have d clear pros nd cons of d underlying factor dat determine the survival of ur business in the labour market among group of. Competitors..u said how bix admin graduate hav I seen holding multimillion companies. Compared to accountant holding there post..many to mention a few..the likes of aliko dangote, stephen olabisi onasanya, sola david borha, oscar onyema nd leo stan ekeh..u being a chartered accountant has guarantee u a job after completion among a stiff competition wit millions of those chattered like u..what do u mean holding ur post in dis modern day nigeria takes God's grace, prayer, merit nd sumtyn connection..lastly accountability is a simple ish,u brought it up thou I know a layman can't diversify those terminologies u know he can do most of those things in a simple manner but in a seemingly rough nd old method cos lack of his academic knowledge..being a biz admin student. I know very much. Dat d task ahead is enormus, aint settle 4 less, even after degrees, gonna still opt in for professional bodies certification nd having my masters, doctorial nd proffesorial levels.so never call a course yeye just because switch frm it to anoda. Course,
Conclusively academic knowledge is a needed tool in every job/proffesion in mankind existences irrespective of ur personal talent, incentives or inbuilt thing as u said, would unless settle 4 less if not get education..remember knowledge is power, power is instrument to combat poverty..it frees us from illiteracy nd ignorance.drop my pen 4 now
morning
olabisi is a chattered accountant
borha and dangote went to business school abroad, didnt study biz admin in a nigerian university.
and if you notice, most of those people listed there are from rich family, they have the resources and influence/affluence at their disposal

dont argue out of context. never said accounting is a free ticket to success. simply said biz admin is better
now you get my point, settling for biz admin 4 a 4year course without future plans is mere waste of time and resources except you plan to settle for less
that rule practically applies to everything we do though, even accounting not really about what you do but how you do it

comparing biz admin to account ing is an insult and I demand an apology, lol.

lol @ drop my pen for now, sounded like a debate/old school love letter. love the way you argue, no insults plus creative writing.
that is why I love arguing, you have nothing to lose, you either win or learn
would love to argue more but
since you ve dropped your pen, my own pen has finished

English, thats all I see in your post. I left biz admin for accounting, registered as an ican student wrote different papers just to make sure I chatter next year, you think say na beans?
how many biz admin graduates do you see holding managerial positions in multi million companies compared to accountants holding their posts?siddown dia.
Over the years, I ve learnt managing is more of an in built thing plus skill acquisition. its seriously not worth spending 4 years in school for, except you plan to get some certifications, and be an expert in your field. if not,be ready to settle for less.

finally,I said accountability in financial and economic terms, anybodý can prepare financial statement, determine the financial position of a company, attend annual general meetings, know what dividend, reserve means, get the net worth of a company, audit account, compute tax liability/asset,see that financial statements show true and fair view, etc? issoookay kontinew

wanna sleep. goodnight
Sorry for cut-in into the debate without any atom of invitation cool.
If I should pick you from where you stop, may I just assume that you have no idea or little knowledge about what buz admin really meant for !
Am not saying this to belittle accountancy for buz admin ooo but have this at the back of ur mind that different folks goes for different strokes, what serves you best may not for the others lipsrsealed
You made mention of how can a buz admin lad take a position of managerial in a big company *what an awkward reasoning* [show me any multi-million naira company here in nigeria and I will show you a buz admin lad making it effective] grin
You made mention of ICAN pls don't tell me that you are so gullible to belief that with that ur B.SC in Buz admin you can go for ICAN cool
Both profession can go for ICAN as a course because they both entitled to it, it is their birthright who no one can deprive them unless you give up urself.
So why on earth will you drop buz admin for accounting because of ICAN, You can lie ooooo grin.
If I should go by the available statistics now am gladly to tell you that accounting is now over-hype...................
Greatscholar they can't stop us from getting there jawe

unilorin is very unpredictable. Previous years....it came out twice or thrice but last year, it came out just once for Stalites and twice for freshers(if am nt mistaken). The rest was gotten through slot.

I guess this time, it was for freshers and stalites. So, it will still come out for freshers....I pray. (at least for the sake of 2nd list freshers)
