The shipping company I use for my items from the US is in Maryland, what I do is use the address as my delivery address, they receive items and sort and package them then air freight, I pick up in Lagos office @ oregun, you can send me a PM as am not sure if I am allowed to drop details here, I know they can make arrangement for outside Lagos too,
pick up is usually in 5 working days from when your Items ships. Right now they are doing a promo 3.55\pounds minimum of 50pds but for Lagos office pick up only.

@ Firsty,How is our boy doing?

many thanks

How do u mean? They have rooms that r non sharing

Non sharing apartment is what's needed. Like a one/two bedded apartment without having to share living room, kitchen and every other living space besides the rooms.

Why don't you carry overweighed bags, up to 32kgs and pay the penalty? The things I shipped since Sept 30, I still de wait!

One of the golden rules of sea freight is to ship your stuff AHEAD...at least 50-60 days before you need them.

On my previous trip to have my baby, I started shopping a few days after I entered town and shipped off all the big stuff within the 1st 2 weeks of my arrival. The ship berthed in Lagos a few days before I arrived and I got all my stuff 2 days after I entered town. So basically all the Diapers, wipes, clothes from 6 months upwards etc and all the other heavy stuff I bought was still right there on time, despite taking about 50 days to ship from Houston to Lagos. The smaller & more urgent stuff, I air freighted and it arrived days after I got into Lagos.

The rule of thumb is basically to just plan to buy your stuff well in advance & sort them out into the heavy or light weight category. That's what will determine what you can carry with you on the plane, air freight or sea freight. All 3 options have worked well for me sha because I bought diapers, wipes etc that my kid used to up till like 15/18 months and it saved me a lot of money in the long run.

Also for shipping things y'll can try 'ship to my door', they charge per pounds and they are also affordable, you get your things at your door step in Nigeria.

It's better she makes a new passport claiming she lost d old one as that is what I did when my application for Canadian visa was refused .I had to do a fresh passport and tendered it to usa embassy and I got my 2yrs visa .if she dare go to usa embassy with that passport, tendencies is that she will be refused visa.

Extremely incorrect, false and wrong. The intent is to deceive the VO, which is what we preach against on this forum.

So what do you fill in the section of "Have you ever been denied a visa"? Never? no?

@ Nogen please advise thanks
Hello everyone please I would like to know if anyone has recently used Doctoresparati recently as thats what im using at the moment, I have paid abouthalf of the hospital fees about $2700 dollars, rest would be paid in cash upon arrival, can anyone with knowledge of them tell me of their experiences and all. Plus does anyone know of any cheap and affordable accommodation which is close to the hospital, I plan on using palmas and Desol Healthcare. P.S im coming with my mother and daughter.

2. Im moving back to Nigeria from UK after living in the uk for six years, im due in february 2016 by Gods grace, would have waited to have my baby but home office has made things so difficult so hubstar and I decided to move back home, now my pregnancy is already classed as high risk as a result of excess amniotic fluid from my first pregnancy and also cos of my weight , i have my pregnancy notes from the uk to prove that. I have read in past forums about proving ties to nigeria but in my case what do i do, hubby and my father are willing to sponsor my trip, i was a stay at home mum in the uk once i had my daughter in 2014 after my mba but my husband was working , i dont know what else i need to prove as husband has a land he acquired in nigeria in both our names , we also have our own house in our name, i am taking our daughter with us as hubby has to sort things in terms of job and all out before the arrival of this baby. My sincere reason for having this baby in the us is i have never experienced naija healthcare in terms of pregnancy and the stories i have heard too scary and 2. my first baby was 4.2kg and i had vaginal delivery o my midwife and gp told me i could do it and they encouraged me, in naija na CS straight as i heard so i really need this to work out and oh to be sincere the passport of course lol. I have already set an interview date for myself my mother and my daughter. My mother has travelled twice to the us but I and my daughter, haven't. Sorry for the long story but I rili need to explain my situation in full so you all understand what im working with. Thanks

@ Olivia, I have read several post on previous thread about how people were refused Visa because they used Doctoresparati's letter. The VO claims they are just middle men not doctors. others have advised that you use a letter from another doctor/hospital even if you dont intend to use them or ask Doctor Espariti to provide you with a letter from Del so (The Delivery Hospital). Someone mentioned they now provide that at an extra payment of $100.

PART 2...
There was a woman in front of me, they searched her bag for close to 20min...also there was a Family, the husband was asked to remove his belt, na im trouser wan disgrace person husband, make I no lie, na only boxer show grin. I was not searched sha, as na sisi I do go the place sef, my belle no too show.
On getting to the entrance, had to sit down cos, we were just entering 4 persons at a time.(naija, dem no even pitty belleful woman make dem allow me enter first undecided. I then entered the main hall, checked and asked to sit for passport verification. The security lady then told ppl to stand up and join the queue, then she saw my face and said..oh sorry oh, you're pregnant?? Pls just sit. Verified and sent for finger printing, then, to the final destination....There was this lady in window 7, I think they forgot to put white paper on her table, cos for about 8-10interviews she never gave one white paper!! Na only green paper she dey issues ppl, another lady @window 8, reject people so tey she refuses a Pastor (this our jerry curled church pastors) I NO MENTION NAME O.
So there was this man in window 9, I was attracted by His voice and calmness. He asks and listens well to people's explanations. Na Im I start to dey look the window dey scabosh... grin speaking in tongues seriously say na there I wan go..the woman beside me was talking, I no even hear weting she dey talk, just they look that window!!
Before then, I had about 5people before me, so I started calculations and distributions that before it will reach me, ppl would have occupied those winshywinshy windows.....then I heard..."next applicant window 6!!!!Before i'll look my front, all of them...I MEAN ALL OF THEM stood up (cos dem be one family) to window 6!!! Yeeepaaaa!!!! Which means the next applicant na for the next window...OLUWA oooo.

Then I remembered someone on this thread said you can stand up to use the toilet then come back... Then I realised, I had committed the whole process to God's hands. Hmmmm... After like 2 min,I just heard..."NEXT APP WINDOW 9!! I was like really did I hear 9 abi na 7 grin. I just run go there as If person wan chance me. grin.
