Ohh sorry, its in the north.
people should not be mislead. Uyo is not in the East. I have visited almost all the state in the federation except Benin Kebbi. South East starts from Headbridge called Niger Bridge to your right you have Awka, Enugu Abakaliki. On your left you have Obosi Ihiala, Owerri, Aba, Umuahia. South starts from Benin Warri Bayelsa, Porthacourt, Uyo Calabar. @OP to your inquiries, Enugu is the best followed by Anambra. The best market is in Ariaria but they have the worst roads in the country Comment on Asaba and Owerri...speaking about roads Owerri is better. Water chased me out of Amantu street in DLA road to Anwai road. Just like Lafia ; Nnebisi road is the good road you have.

1.Uyo
2.Enugu
3.Owerri
4.Aba
If Enugu gets the amount of allocation Uyo gets. It would be finer than Abuja

These are the type of threads that should be seen regularly here on politics section not every time IPOBs and tribal insults.

I did enjoy the banter when pictures of different states and construction works were spranging here. There was this my Akwa Ibom friend on nairaland that we keep exchanging banters of this is better than that. These 2015 Governors look lost and have not really kicked the ground running. God bless those 2007 sets Governors, love or hate them. They all perform better infrastructure wise.
I am still reading up the comments and shaping up my next traveling. Need to visit some the places people are mentioning.. grin

OP UYO isn't in the south east, its south south, Owerri is neat and cool. I served there and stay at both Amakohia Infront of Mami and Chukwumwa Nwoha via Egbu or MCC road but Owerri is a civil servant state what do you expect when u have almost all the federal presence in a particular location, Futo fedponekede, Alvan ikoku, FMC, even state presence like IMSU. IMO poly is closer to Owerri that. it is to other town in its Local govt.

You can't compare it to Aba and Onitcha where people are making a living. Where they have companies. The both cities are dirty cos of the activities.

Students and corpers in Owerri are more than people actually living there

I will prefer Aba and Onitcha to one just civil servant city like Owerri.

Most federal roads in southern Nigeria are not in good conditions.Itu- Calabar, Lagos-Ibadan and Ota-Lagos are examples
Ikengawo:
All federal roads from ph to the rest of igbo land are deliberately kept in an abysmal state to disconnect igbos in ph from the rest. Aba and PH suffer the most from this
Ikengawo...everywhere is disconnected...FG roads no they try at all

you are very correct. the day i went to somewhere at igboetiti in enugu state for a trad. i was so disappointed in enugu state. i was seeing huts after huts. they have empty land and very low population and very little development.
Thank you my dear. Don't mind Freeglobe who is only blinded by Enugu city.

Enugu is better than every other state in the East but the girl reporting it seems not to be mobile.
I am from Nsukka and I most say that the development in Enugu state is not even. But Enugu central is cool, very, very cool

Afam4eva simply put, Aba is a ghetto.

I've got a home in Ogbor-hill and the area isn't as bad as you've illustrated.

I'll love to know which part of the city you are staying, wouldn't mind having a drink or two with you.

you are the illiterate here because you cannot divorce a city which is a product of the state. In other words city or town is inside the state so all of them must be judged generally. This is the same mentality Africa is backward.

Bros I said Uyo is in the south south. South South has no 'east word' in it. If u are referring to the old eastern region then delta state should not be in your analysis because the old bendel state(Ben for Benin while Del for delta) were part of the old western region before the formation of mid-west. Are u 12 years old, how can u call someone who legitimately correct u an illiterate. You must be one hell of an ingrate.

You're still an illiterate for saying Uyo is not in the south east when I never mentioned South East in post. Is delta state another name for Uyo. How long have you been a. Illiterate?

As far as am concern Igbere is the most beautiful in Abia State. Mr. Tourism should have demanded for this city and capture, a city where 3 governors emerged from and ruled, good road network, beautiful structures in their GRA like Onu etc, good vegetation and highly serene to live.

Oh well bruh, you're living in my hood.

Ukaegbu road is under construction at the moment. The work should have been done with by now if not for the construction company's incompetence.

I'll send you a PM shortly.

The major roads you will see in Asaba are nnebisi, okpanam and summit road, these roads look very dusty, asaba lacks greens, Asaba lacks inner-roads. Owerri has more plyable roads than Asaba, owerri is generally more beautiful than Asaba, owerri has more dualized roads than Asaba, owerri is neater than Asaba and I think owerri is bigger than Asaba. Owerri is generally more of a city than Asaba.
You are 100% correct. Asaba is just an overhyped city compare to owerri. Mind you, most Asaba roads are not only dusty but not motorable .
