Have you been to Rivers state before? Have you been to those places you mentioned? You call those places modern? you are a fool.. lol
Do you think I am a dunce like you? You need to travel okay. I travel a lot so I know what I am saying. I was born and bred in Aba, currently schooling in Uyo and spend ma hol with my friends and relatives in Rivers state. I have also gone for hols in Enugu, Kaduna and Abuja. Will be going to Edo for xmas hols. Not ma fault sha. Just step out and travel out. The last time I went to Enugu, I was seriously unhappy seeing Enugu state virtually empty. You can travel for about 20 kilometres without seeing a single hut cos you guys have huts in your villages. Hahahaha.
Just travel to Imo, Anambra Akwa Ibom and Rivers. You will be astonished seeing lively populated village towns. In Imo, the Mbaise- Mbano- Mbaitolu- Ikeduru- Isu- Nkwerre - Orlu axis is heavily populated despite many Imolites reside in their hundreds of thousands outside Imo state. In Aba, we are more than the native Ngwa in the city. Go round and check and stop blabbering.

Taa mechie onu. Imolites top the chart in terms of beauty. Most of the fair ladies Igbo land brag off are mainly from Imo.

I'm fascinated by cities and recently I have been on the road in the east. I have visited Enugu, Owerri and Aba briefly and u intend spreading my tentacles soon. I stayed longer in Owerri and the truth is, I never expected what I saw in Owerri. I was expecting it to be one of those normal towns. I really didn't expect the kind of city life it possesses. One thing that tickled my fancy is the fact that it has a high population of educated folks especially students.

As for Enugu, I didn't really spend much time but I've been there severally though yet to tour the nooks and crannies but based on the reviews, its probably the best rounded city in the SE.

I'm currently in Aba and honestly there's nothing to say about the city other than the fact that it's a rejected and dejected town. I can't even bring out my camera to take pictures because there's nothing to snap. i can't risk my camera getting spoiled by the horrible scenery. It's just pathetic. The town needs a renaissance. All the roads should be constructed from scratch by juliua Berger and roads should also be constructed into the inner streets. An attempt should also be made to beautify the city. As I'm talking to you, there is no beautiful part of Aba. Everywhere just seems rough and unkempt. God save Aba.

Now back to my topic, for those who are frequent visitor of Enugu, Owerri, Aba, Onitaha and Asaba and Uyo. How do these towns compare to each other. I asked a girl who has visited Asaba and she said Asaba is better than Owerri and I was shocked as I always saw Asaba as an upcoming city. I also read a statement somewhere that Uyo has a better infrastructure than the revered Enugu. How true is this? I'll like to compare and contrast the pros and cons of these towns.

personally i think none is beta than the other bcus where one is lacking the others are doing well in that order undecided

Op, for us in Aba, we know there are lots of work going on and there are many many things to be done too.

And why do people always try to be mischievous, people never mention Umuahia that is in standard of Owerri or even better.

I was in Umuahia all thru the weekend and I was marveled, T.A was wicked to Enyimba people but he took his time to develop Umuahia
umuahia is nowhere near owerri in development. umuahia is a small town not even a city.

you are very correct. the day i went to somewhere at igboetiti in enugu state for a trad. i was so disappointed in enugu state. i was seeing huts after huts. they have empty land and very low population and very little development.

hehehehe, you are just ignorant.. If you want to see mud houses go to buguma, go to Khana, these are real villages in Rivers state

It is not true, i schooled in uniport. you cannot compare Rivers to Enugu state. Its world apart. greater part of Enugu state is undeveloped and lacked human capital. I have been there few years back. Enugu people should focus on development of their state because what i saw at Igboetit is still ringing in my head. seeing huts was very common over there, to the extent that i decided to go back the same day because i couldn't sleep there.

1. New Owerri(coolest).
2. Enugu(i call it 'ngwori' city mayne).
3. Uyo(might be at the top in no time as massive infrastructures are being installed, currently where i'm now).
4. Asaba.
5. Ph.
6. Umuahia.
7. Onitsha( could be better if they had good leaders).
8. Aba( could even be the best if they had good leaders 4rm day 1, saying this on the amount of money that aba generates).

Op,owerri is far better than asaba both in terms of roads, liveliness, economy e.t.c,owerri has more estates than asaba and owerri is also ahead of asaba in terms of development.owerri is also larger than uyo and more lively than it,the only thing uyo is ahead over owerri is road network.enugu is far better than them all.
Ur correct.

Does Rivers state start and end in PH? Have you been to Emilia? Agreed the Whole enugu is not developed, ditto for Rivers state, but if we want to compare Enugu capital with PH, I think Enugu is more beautiful and planned. Fact

I am not here to argue with anybody, i only said what I saw. was it not the same enugu capital that we passed to garriki park? Enugu is messed with its red and dirty environment. Have you been to garriki park, is like where animals live. Ples, do not for once compare Ph to enugu. enugu has a long way to go yet. I really do not fashie the place one bit.
