Check Burlington as their prices are fair, Walmart too, Marshalls is OK but a bit expensive Sha.

Hello favouredgal,
My husband sent them a mail yesterday and he is yet to get a response also i plan using Dr esparati again does that mean they wont like to hear im going there again?
favoredgal:

Was in ur shoes in October. Write to them for a status update but get ready to be called for an interview at the embassy.

When going get ur receipts from the last birthd together, your dr's correspondence, your budget and your bank account (proof you can afford this baby)

There is absolutely nothing to worry about

P.s dr's correspondence shouldn't be from doctoresperati

my boy was like that what i did was snap him with my camera when he had his eye opened on a white bedsheet while laying down so they picked the one they could use.

@favoredgal, do u think doctoresparati correspondence can pose a problem for someone who has used it b4 4 childbirth? I tot dt could actually give them some credibility in d eyes of d VO when told it was used 4 my last child birth as well.

Her coins
Burden of proof ( docs correspondent n hospital quote )
Budget sheet
Accomodation details
Her letter / response from embassy if she didn't get her visa while preggy
PRAYERS! PRAYERS!!

The last line seems to be the greatest. My in law in Richmomd now used IAH in October, landed about 4pm and she and other moms" from Africa were kept waiting for 6 whole hours without being attended to. Even when she requested for water the ladies were very rude. She tried forming labor, dey didn't even call a doctor only saying they weren't the ones that impregnated her. But at the end of the night, she left the airport after 10 hours and her part luck was she got a man to do the interview. So I guess she just has to be bold and not show fear be firm and if she can, try and get a man to do the interview. Am confident your unborn will bring you luck. And your wifes' won't be like this.

Be patient!!! Your passport is probably in transit to the embassy.

They invited me to the embassy about a month and 4 days after i submitted Dropbox but immediately after the interview the visa came out in 3 days

You know doctoresperati is not the same as del sol hospital (is that the spelling?) if you can get correspondence straight from the hospital better, if you want to use doctoresperati's correspondence up to you. I just gave u the hint cuz I know uv not been on the thread for a while, not sure if uv read back to know the denials that has gone hand in hand with their correspondence

I'm not the VO nah! It's just a tip. It can be taken or ignored
I don't think the issue was ever credibility, they were flagged as agents and the VO preferred to see correspondence with a direct hospital not an agent

Hi people,

I need urgent help here please...
Has anyone ever settle a payment plan for their hospital bill ? How it went down ? Did you still got to pay the package (discounted) price or did you pay the normal price and how much more was that ?

I used Oakbend in Houston before my due date since i had an emergency c-section and a premie.
Thank God, baby's fine now but i had unexpected bills to pay so the hospital bill is still pending.
Now they gave me 2 weeks after discharge but i won't meet the date and will probably need an extra 2 weeks undecided
Now i can't sleep at night, i'm so scared they gonna raise my bill to the "undiscounted" rate. How much more could that be ?
Do you have any idea if i can manage to pay the 3500$ later on in one or two installments ?

thank u

Why not go to the finance dept and talk with them so you know your full options instead of speculating

If you used dr F you can also get him involved, he has a lot of influence at oakbend

Best of luck

No matter how long they hold one back for

If you've done the right thing by

1. Telling the truth at the embassy or at least informing them about your change of plans

2. Holding enough cash

3. Having the right correspondence

They can NEVER turn you back

Yes o...Amen. I did a search of POE with tight security and IAH is highly ranked. Meaning it's a 50/50. Though it's just ppls opinion, that's y I was asking about ATL for my wife next month for her 2nd missionary to Florida and other Moms' here seem to think it's good. So I will advice you know ur POE before buying ur ticket.

True talk. I just like avoiding stories that touch that's all. Especially if ppl here tell me stories about a particular POE. A mom on that trip was turned back whIle her own mother was allowed to enter the US. Why, my in law didn't wait to find out. So I think ppl here thag are fortunate enough to know this blog, should ask before entering one chance POE

I think oakbend can take instalments, please call them to verify i am only assuming because when i had my baby, i was asked if i wanted to pay the bill at once or in instalments. If you used dr F, you can talk to him to help talk to the hospital. Call them

Hello wonderful mommies with a mission to birth in the USA. So I have been following this thread from the first part, and I must admit I skipped some pages..so I have the intention to birth my second baby in the US.
My question is has anyone used delux childbirth or heritage childbirth services in lagos?
What are your reviews on them?
Is there any other good childbirth service in Abuja?
My other question is, in 2005/06 I applied for a vacation visa and the age in that passport was reduced as advised by my sister. However I was denied the visa as there wasn't enough financial backing and I was even a student back then.
Fast forward to 2010. I got a new passport with my current age and have travelled to 2 African countries with Dubai. m married, haven't changed my maiden name In the passport. Will this pose a problem in my visa interview? How do I go about the age thingy, even though it has been more than 10 years?
Lately, for mums that travelled with their toddlers alone, did you use a daycare? What is the cost? How did you cope alone without any help? Thanks in advance.
