TonyeBarcanista:So true. I am also disappointed to say the least. This is monumental rape of our future. Anyways, let me just watch and see what the end would look like. We must learn to separate politics from justice and patriotism. Up till this moment, I am sympathetic to PDP, I am proud of it and have no regrets. Who knows, maybe Atiku, Amaechi, Kwankwaso, etc would have been indicted or probed if they were still in PDP. God help Nigeria |

| Re: Nigeria by Nobody: 10:34am On Dec 04, 2015 |
nice right up. Corruption don't have party or tribe. those who are shouting rule of law, knows in their innermost heart there is no way Dasuki is completely free of corruption in the arms deal. I like the way Buhari is going about it. |
| Re: Nigeria by Jesusloveyou: 10:34am On Dec 04, 2015 |
DebateNigeria:it would have be an easy ride, if all d political criminals supported buhari for change, by now nigeria would have be free from corruption, and more free money to fulfil campaign promises |

Barcanista, as logical as your postulations might be, practically, it does not seem to be in tandem with the realities in our govt bureaucracies. Ordinarily, the office of NSA should not be seen to have anything to do with party campaigns or anything outside Security but this is not straight-jacketed. 1. National Security is not about the police, military or paramilitary affairs only, it involves everything about the life of any sitting govt. Ensuring that such govt is not ousted from power (by whatever means) is a joint responsibility of the NSA and other govt officials. 2. Media advertisements against insurgency and expositions on individuals who are seen as enemies of the State also fall under the jurisdiction of the NSA and any fund allotted to his office can be used appropriately as situation requires.. 3. Excess Funds from Security Votes can be redirected for other pressing needs. 4. Dokpesi has explained the purpose for which the money he received was meant. It's now left for the court to establish the veracity of his claim. After all every govt in power pumps money into NTA for image laundering and campaign purposes. We all support any fight against corruption but it must be done with sincerity of purpose. Buhari should explain where his party got his campaign funds from. |

opiaoku:When will some of you just understand that it doesnt always have to be a PDP vs APC affair, it doesnt have to always be a pro-GEJ or anti-GEJ affair or pro-PMB or anti-PMB affair? These guys who stole defence budgets directly led to the death of over 10 thousand Nigerians including gallant soldiers and civilians. FOr the first time in history, the ever agile Nigerian soldiers lost focus and courage and we continually heard of soldiers deserting, committing mutiny and going AWOL. Now the allegations raised by the soldiers that they were never armed is being unravelled to be true, the billions of dollars meant for arming the soldiers is now being revealed to have been shared by evil men (from all tribes and regions). But still, all you can think about is Amaechi or GEJ and PDP vs APC? How I wish you were from the NE and your entire village was wiped out, would you have towed this line of reasoning? |

TonyeBarcanista:I wonder oooooh, for once why dont they seperate politic from Nigeria state on this issues, i repeat, every thief (GOAT) must account for all the YAM the've eaten. To all those not in agreement of making all the goat to account for our yam, join hand whatever side you belong. Nigeria must move forward, all government afficials must be held accountable |
| Re: Nigeria by omenka(m): 11:03am On Dec 04, 2015 |
All those implicated in this fraud from Sambo Dasuki, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Raymond Dokpesi, the Generals and those yet to be arrested must be made to face the Full wrath of the law whether they are fulani, yoruba, ijaw, Igbo, Ibibio, nupe,I have nothing more to say. |
| Re: Nigeria by kaboninc(m): 12:09pm On Dec 04, 2015 |
TonyeBarcanista:You do not need to express 'great' disappointment in GEJ. We all know what it means to be with the 'happening' team. So if the media can go all out to say that Dieziani stole 13 billion pounds, you also do not need to express great disappointment in GEJ. You need to really consider what you stand for, how you stand for it. I only hope and fear that you are not what I'm thinking you to be.....a turn coat! God bless us and give us a spirit of objectivity. |

TonyeBarcanista:I commend your strength in accepting to take a look back to realign yourself back to where you should be. Truth of the matter is at this time in our national life, reasonable people should shelve party or regional affiliation to fight for the soul of the country. These guys destroyed every fabric of our society. We are talking about monies meant to save lives that were dying daily. |

| Re: Nigeria by GambaOsaka: 1:27pm On Dec 04, 2015 |
Our primary problem in Africa (and it is responsible for our backwardness), is the fact that naturally we have a WICKED HEART. How can you come here and argue based on political party, tribal or whatever inclinations. There is evidence of that the money meant for weapon purchase was siphoned by some B@$ta*D's and instead of looking at the situation objectively , some ignorant and blind sychophants are praising GEJ. I don't need to talk much but if you are sure of whatever point you have in support of his crazy government that got our Country into this mess we are in, just pray sincerely from your heart aloud that 'May God lead your life as GEJ lead Nigeria'. People are making money from the insurgency while closing their eyes to the daily calamities happening in the Northeast. Argh....... God almighty where is your face? These people must not go unpunished. They have inflicted a lifetime scar on our lives in this country. |

kaboninc:See guy, I think my post should tell you that I don't relegate the country's interest for those of the morally bankrupt in the society. I don't need you to patrionise me or praise me.... I never sought for that. It is okay if you don't share my view, it is actually your business not mine. But it is silly for you to think that I give a damn to whatever negative perception you have of me. Please, swerve! |

philips70:Just last year, the FG collected loan of $1billion (N200billion) for arms procurement. This loan means that myself, my future children and every Nigerians are indebted to our creditors. But what happened? Some few bastards shared the money among themselves. And someone will come here to screem his party name? Damn! |
| Re: Nigeria by omenka(m): 2:30pm On Dec 04, 2015 |
modath:I'm okay my dear. I share your sentiments honestly. Sometimes it's such a herculean task keeping one's head intact in the midst of all the revelations of rot that characterised the immediate past admin, and more disgusting is the attitude of some people whom, if I must add, were no less victims of the corruption Baba is fighting against than ourselves- yet, our of nothing but deep seated but misplaced hatred for the person of the president, they've insisted on seeing no propriety in the president's methods. Sometimes I just wish desperately I didn't share a common country with those guys. |

| Re: Nigeria by Nobody: 2:48pm On Dec 04, 2015 |
TonyeBarcanista:May you live long. By now series of phone calls and meetings must be going between the thiefs in the last administration. They are trembling cos they know dasuki wont want to go down alone. I think there is no way GEJ wont be implicated if further revelations surfaces. He was a good man but allowed so much impunity to thrive. my only dissapointment in this administration would be if no one goes to jail. Our futures and our unborn children's future have been looted and we have been turned to debtors for life. sad |
