There's no generalisation in his post. Desire for freedom is still within the people, is not a generalisation, he never said all igbos, or all houses in igboland. The bases of his point was on hoisting of Biafran flag, and he clearly stated they were been done by some houses.

I see a lot of these flags, especially in Imo, Anambra and Abia, this thing indicate strong believe in a cause. US citizens hoist their flags in their homes.
How many Nigerians hoist Nigerian flags in their house? Even air freshener used for cars are, mostly, designed in USA flag

Patriotism has gone in this country, we are just living in denial, "unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable" let's keep deceiving ourselves.

talking about alliance, an IBo man spearheaded the formation of PDP, which yoruba man used to become president for eight years, what did we gain in return

after the death MKO,abiola -OPC members terrorized everybody in South West, an we didn't call them tribal and crying foul. at the end the south west go the presidency,and they kept quiet.
now the same south west has the vice presidency

we need to restructure Nigeria so no one is marginalized, the only way is implementing the report of sovereign national conference. and that is what we asking for.

power must be shared across the region and forget about alliance. rotational presidency is the only solution, because every state in Nigeria can produce the presidency so why should a whole region be perpetually kept out of the equation?

Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has emphasized the need for the country’s leadership to approach the agitations for Biafra in a more diplomatic way.

In an exclusive interview on our programme, Channels Book Club, the Nobel laureate said that every ethnic group should be made to feel like a part of the country and good old dialogue is the way to go.

“I wrote an article during the war that Biafra cannot be defeated. People misunderstood what I was saying.

“Once an idea has taken hold, you cannot destroy that idea. You may destroy the people, the carriers of that idea on the battle field but ultimately it’s not the end of the story.

“Let’s not take this position of ‘don’t even talk about it’, ‘under my watch this will never happen’, don’t say things like that. Go into that environment and ask ‘what is it that we can do to make you happy and feel part of this entity?’

“Listen to some other Biafrans and ask them why they want to stay (and say) ‘this is what we are ready to push as the overall authority in this area’.

“Don’t go around saying ‘the sovereignty of the country is indivisible, it’s non-negotiable’ all that kind of language will only make matters worse,” he said.

Everyone wants biafra not to leave nigeria..no one is asking why they want to leave in the first place.

Those touts that said they voted in buhari so he'll deal with igbos and constantly asking what the igbos contribute to Nigeria...I hope you're happy when the igbos eventually leave. Pls, endeavour to vote yes when the referendum comes

I don't know why we always brand every person with opposing views as non Igbo. Do you think most Igbo Lagosians care? What of Igbos born in the North? I support this agitation for fair representation in Nigerian project and restructuring of Nigeria.
