This is another opportunity for us to educate
ourselves on what our religion teaches about
various social situations.

It is important, as a Christian, to get a clear idea on what the bible teaches about certain social issues. Today, we will look at 10 Bible verses that talks
about fornication.

1. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a
person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. ( 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 )

2. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let
the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. (Hebrews 13:4)

3. Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every
man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. ( 1 Corinthians 7:2 )

4. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual
immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery,
enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries,
dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you
before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)

5. No temptation has overtaken you that is not
common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let
you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the
temptation he will also provide the way of escape,
that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians
10:13)

6. Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not
inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:
neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor
adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God (1
Corinthians 6:9-11).

7. If a man seduces a virgin who is not betrothed and lies with her, he shall give the bride-price for her and make her his wife. If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money equal to the
bride-price for virgins. (Exodus 22:16-17)

8. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you:
sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. ( Colossians 3:5)

9. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they
should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion. (1 Corinthians 7:9)

10. If anyone thinks that he is not behaving properly toward his betrothed, if his passions are strong, and it has to be, let him do as he wishes: let them marry
—it is no sin. (1 Corinthians 7:36)

The Holy Book is the white man's manual that's in serious need of a thorough revision to check sexism, racism, tribalism etc. Basically, the book has to be updated to reflect current egalitarian principles.

I can't support a piece of literature that supports Male Genital Mutilation.

Male genital mutilation? You mean circumcision? So you are uncircumcised?

I believe and live my life on two pillars
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul
If you love God, you would not make another god take His place in your heart not even money

Love your neighbor as you love yourself

If you love your neighbor, you would not wish him any wickedness or harm him.

When you take advantage of a girl or man because of your selfish interest (money or sex) , then for me it is a sin

Otherwise............ Take care of whosoever you wish to share your heart with

I studied the life of David and found out one thing, God doesn't really care about the actions, he is more concerned about the intent and motive, that is why it is said, God look at the heart.

That is why Saul was favored in spite of killing early Christians
That is why David destroyed lives and cities but was still a friend of God
That is why Abraham slept with his maid and lied but was still a friend of God.

The basic principle of love is all Christ came to instill in the heart of men not dogmas and chains of doctrines

10. If anyone thinks that he is not behaving properly toward his betrothed, if his passions are strong, and it has to be, let him do as he wishes: let them marry
—it is no sin. (1 Corinthians 7:36)

In other words, you can have sex with a lady that is betrothed to you even when you are not married. So, sex before marriage in this case is not a sin.

honestly, they are bias. https://www.nairaland.com/2733755/faithbeliefreason-truth
Justification is the concept that provides our belief with the assuredness of its truth. People believe things for reasons, which provide the warrant for their belief.Without these reasons, you do not have knowledge of what you believe. If a belief is JUSTIFIED, then we have the right to believe it. Atheists got it wrong, there view was; " since you cannot know something with 100% certainty, you cannot obtain the truth (or knowledge), you just have to believe ,God did it". The bible say otherwise, in Isaiah 1:18 God is calling human to "come and let us REASON together" This brief journey into obtaining knowledge of what you belief was done in order to show the relationship between FAITH,BELIEF AND TRUTH . Christianity requires faith, faith requires belief, and belief requires TRUTH.This is not just a mere belief but rather a trust that is characterized as knowledge. Notice how Paul incorporates all three of these elements in his letter to the Romans, “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). You cannot "confess with your mouth" without knowing the truth. No matter how hard I try, I cannot make myself believe that there is a pink elephant in the room right now. I do not have direct free will over my beliefs, i.e. I can’t make myself believe something. I also cannot just tell people what to believe or exhort them to believe it. But if I don’t have free will over my beliefs, how can the Bible hold me responsible for them? The answer lies in the fact that I do have responsibility as to where I choose to focus my mind. I have free choice in body movements and where to place my attention (what you choose to think about). I have to choose to be preoccupied with something to change my belief or increase my certainty in that belief .Faith in the biblical sense means trust or confidence, confident in what we know to be TRUE. You do not have to be 100% certain in a belief for it to count as knowledge. The bible say faith alone cannot save , why? because what you have faith in must be TRUE, Biblical faith is accurate knowledge combined with ACTIVE TRUST Faith and knowledge are not opposed to each other. So Trusting faith alone does NOT save, but instead what is trusted MUST be true. The faith Jesus had was not an absence of knowledge, but was based upon an intimate knowledge of his Father. We too can gain knowledge to make our faith richer.
