In an humble submission, I'd like to know the two sureties/guarantors that fitted into the bail terms of having ul to the tune of #200 million each.
I hope it's not what I'm thinking that happened?

We'll like to know the two civil servants that stood surety. They must explain how they acquired N200m each and also how they got landed properties in like sum.
Exactly my thoughts and question. Wouldn't it be logical to say they only showed their shares of the looted fund?

Dokpesi and IBB are 5 and 6. I knew from the beginning that this case won't go far.

You can't send the elites to prison in this country...NEVER!!! even the judge knows that.

I disagree

You have to factor one person. Buhari!

He is a vicious man. He has one weakness, he is unrelentingly stubborn and will pursue an agenda till conclusion.

I can assure you now, unless Dokpesi jumps bail, he is going to jail. Dasuki is definitely going to jail and same with a lot of these guys.

My only problem with Buhari is his inability to effectively multitask as a leader.

And this case will take like 30yrs from Federal High Court to Supreme Court if not 40yrs.

Perhaps you don't know that Nigerian prison can actually turn out to be comfort zones for some calibre of people, based on their reputations and/or degree of wealth. Ask #Omisore, #BodeGeorge, #RevKing, et al.

.

Buhari isn't the judge so there's a limit to what he can do.

Dasuki will finally be granted bail just mark my words, they will never smell jail.

Hope you know these men are IBB conmen? and buhari won't like to dare IBB by sending his men to prison.

True sir. Buhari is not the judge but he is the HOS and we cannot discount his influence

Buhari's main selling point is his anti corruption mantra. He will pursue these issues to the end.

I do agree with you that IBB is a major factor. IBB is a fighter and a ruthless man. Just like Buhari, he doesn't talk much but with these revelations, Buhari has committed himself publicly. The world is watching and documenting all the evidence.

This is beyond IBB now. He can only ensure he is not personally affected but he cannot stop the process. Dasuki and Dokpesi are smart enough never to involve IBB.

We are talking of legitimate earnings not stolen funds.

I do understand that buhari won't like to dent his image...honestly i do feel for him.

Well in that situation, we should expect some series of adjournment till God knows when. Expect this case to go on for years. It might go beyond buhari's tenure sef

It's not down to the government. Their job is to bring the culprit to the court and the rest is down to the judiciary judges and magistrates.
So you got to be realistic.

A farmer saw a plane full of politicians crash near his farm. When the police arrived, they asked the farmer what happened.
.
Farmer: They crashed near my farm and I buried all of them.
One of the police men asked with shock; "are you sure they were all dead"?
.
Farmer: Some of them were screaming, "we are still alive".
But I couldn't believe them.
You know, these politicians. They can lie.

i learnt that all ex-presidents are immune to prison,so no matter what they do,they can't be sent to prison.
To the issue:if for example,GEJ gave my dad huge amount of money for his company to do some project, how will it then concern government,,,the man said the money he collected was for media business, but i strongly sense PMB wants to frustrate him because he is a member of PDP,(flashback),remember during the election this year,AIT was just showing us about PMB's previous regime in hardness and violence,i recently watched a documentary about that, where he brought in WAR AGAINST INDISCIPLINE,soldiers flogging people anyhow, detaining,so is it the kind of NEGATIVE CHANGE we need now,NO!!!,BUHARI just came back to revenge, and i pray another government overthrow him like before, else we'll become cattle with a ruthless rearer.
I am a patriotic Nigerian and i just want to make common sense

From today!!!! Bros I hereby denounce every support I've got for this government as regards corruption, cause its evident enough its all mouth! Lord knows how irritated I am to see dopeksi on tv tonight, the whole case is a smokescreen then, it will die naturally like the sarakis et al cases.
What is your problem?

Dokpesi was arraigned in court on charges borthering on diversion of funds and stealing. The alleged offences are bailable.

He asked the court to release him on bail pending determination of charges brought against him and the court rightly granted him bail but on very stringent conditions including surrendering his international passport to ensure he doesn't escape from the country.

He met his bail condition and thereby promptly released according to the law. So, what is the fuss all about? Do you think Dokpesi is already discharged and acquitted of his crimes? No. He has plenty dates in court and I am dead sure he will not go scot free.

Forget all the talk about Buhari won't like to dare IBB. He had dared him in the past and he's already daring him now by arresting those you call "his boys".

Dasuki, Yuguda, Bafarawa and others will eventually get bail but they will eventually be sentenced. In three to six months time, we shall surely witness their sentencing, God sparing our life.

This DasukiGate is a classic example of "signature casë" for war on corruption by Buhari. It's the type of battle you as a president don't go into if you're not sure of winning it.

Should PMB fail in bringing these big boys to justice, his credibility is forever gone. He knows this and he must be too determined to be successful with it.

Let's wait and see.
