OBJ did more for the Railway than GEJ. The initiative started from the days of Abacha. Subsequent governments have continued and improved on the rail system. It is same situation as the Roadmap to Power which OBJ conceptualized and GEJ improved on.

1st of all I am not an APC member. I don't follow PARTIES rather I align with PERSONS so note that.

Secondly, any project embarked by the FG is a project for the Nation. Since the past administration (PDP) has handed over the helm of affairs to the current (APC), it means the current (APC) owes Nigerians the sole duty of maintaining FG projects.

Sometimes look out of party lines and be objective. I have my reason for replying you though.

Anyway in case you don't know, the past administration hurriedly commissioned the Ph-Makurdi axis of the railway but it hasn't been functional for a while now.
The Minister for Transport thought it wise to commission the Ph-Aba axis because of its economic importance.

Accessing Aba from Ph by road can be very difficult & stressful cos of the massive traffic at the Oyigbo border, Eleme junction/Oil mill area and also due to the bad roads. Traders will rejoice more for this.

If you aren't satisfied, do well to quote me but please be objective & keep aside insults.

Exactly One year ago when I wanted to travel to my village for Christmas and new year festivities, I decided to travel with train. My major aim was to witness Jonathan's Railway Transformation by myself.

I fully agree that this is a project of the GEJ administration, and I said that much yesterday on another thread. What I however fail to understand is the "taking glory" part. What should this government do? Abandon the project? Destroy the trains and pull up the rail lines? GEJ's administration has done well by starting the railway transformation, as they did in agriculture. PMB should build on that, not abandon it. If every government since 1960 had improved on what the past administration did, we won't be where we are today. Why this need to ascribe things to ourselves and stamp our names on it?

Mind you, it is our money that was used to achieve these things not Amaechi, GEJ or PMB's money.

Kudos to the past government for certain projects they embarked on. Kudos to the present government for continuity. We can actually communicate without yabs & e-fighting. Well, I am a "Tannoid" or "Satannoid" or what ever anyone cares to call me except "wailer". Anyone who calls me a wailer, will wail over his family BTGG.
