Nothing can be more accurate and veridical than number one. You can't love someone who isn't happy and contented with themselves. A wasteful exercise.

When you hear someone say they feel unhappy and miserable cause they can't afford a subsisting relationship, then run.

That's a red flag and should let you know that they intend to make you their only source of happiness. If he/she isn't happy while single they may find it hard to find fulfilment even when dating.

No one is responsible to make anyone happy but themselves. Happiness resonates within and internal not an external thing. I stand to be corrected.
