Obama government has been accused of dictatorship, fascism and tyranny by Republicans. Reason Buhari should Ignore PDP

It is not uncommon for opposition parties to label sitting president of a ruling party a Dictator. This is usually a way of venting frustration when Presidents make decisions that does not favour the opposition. The aim of this article is to bring to our notice of some instances Barrack Obama have been accused of abusing power by the opposition (Republicans) in the United State “the world most advanced democracy”. For those who are writing barrack Obama about Buhari abuse of power, they are wasting their time because Barrack Obama knows what it feels like to be labelled dictator, fascist or tyrant by opposition party.

it is difficult for you to be a serious and passionate executive leader in presidential system of government without being accused of tyranny by opposition. This s because in presidential system of government, the president has a lot of "gray area power" or executive order which tend to overlap both Judiciary and legislatures. Absolute Separation of power cannot exist in a Presidential system of Government. It is completely Impossible. it only exist in textbooks and internet articles. Nigeria legislatures under David mark in a last minute constitutional amendments, try to remove many of these "gray area power" of the president. This they did after the election. Goodluck Jonathan in his wisdom refused to sign the amendment into law despite the fact that he has lost his election. Apart from his peaceful acceptance of defeat, this is one of the greatest good thing Goodluck Jonathan did for Nigeria.

Below are numerous quotes where Obama government and supreme court has been accused of dictatorship, abuse of power, fascism, authoritarianism, tyranny etc in the United states of America by opposition Republicans. Such cases are so many. But I will only states a few here.

Rep. Randy Weber of Texas, meanwhile, sent out a message blasting the president as a lying “Socialistic dictator” shortly before “Commandant-In-Chief” Obama began issuing his extreme threats to rule over America unilaterally. In a series of State of the Union twitter posts, Weber, who represents former Congressman Ron Paul’s district, also slammed Obama over everything from the Benghazi scandal and trashing the United States to his “phone and pen” scheming.

With Congress away on recess and the American people distracted by the holidays, Obama’s New Year’s amnesty power-play is classic dictator. This 181-page immigration amnesty rule is an unconstitutional assault on America’s workers. Why are we robbing seniors and veterans of their hard-earned benefits to give handouts to illegal immigrants and foreign blue-collar workers? Why did we fight a revolution against the tyranny of one, unelected monarch so we could surrender our Constitution to this out-of-control president? By Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R)

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/12/31/huckabee-obamas-executive-actions-mark-classic-dictator/

This year Texas Republican Representative Lamar Smith told Fox’s Stuart Varney, “This is a President who has, in an unprecedented way, used executive orders, executive actions, to go around Congress.” I did some digging, and found that our Fascist In Chief has issued a whopping 219 executive orders during his time as President. The right is right: this man is out of control.
http://www.mediaite.com/print/is-dictator-obama-abusing-his-executive-order-powers/

Regarding a different Obama executive action, House Speaker John Boehner said, “President Obama has cemented his legacy of lawlessness”; he once even threatened a law suit. Charles Krauthammer considered it an “impeachable offence.”
http://www.mediaite.com/print/is-dictator-obama-abusing-his-executive-order-powers/

Ted Cruz, whose spokeswoman Catherine Frazier this weekend called Obama's plan "complete lunacy," said on Monday the President "is once again going to abuse his power to try seize our guns."
http://edition.cnn.com/2016/01/04/politics/obama-loretta-lynch-gun-control-actions/
Republicans immediately and predictably went off the rails as soon as the president mentioned executive action and guns. Rep. Paul Broun said, “There is a tremendous potential for a horrendous public backlash against the president if he continues the policies that he has been doing of trying to go around Congress, create law and be a dictator like he’s been doing.”

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) accused the president of abusing his power, “Making matters worse is that President Obama is again abusing his power by imposing his policies via executive fiat instead of allowing them to be debated in Congress. President Obama’s frustration with our republic and the way it works doesn’t give him license to ignore the Constitution.”

Rep. Darrell Issa said, “The president’s imperial behavior and his abuse of power didn’t begin with the Second Amendment. He did it with immigration. He’s certainly done it with the Obamacare. So, once again, it’s a president exceeding his intended authority.”
http://www.democraticunderground.com/101653275

” Huckabee said in the statement. “I will not acquiesce to an imperial court any more than our Founders acquiesced to an imperial British monarch. We must resist and reject judicial tyranny, not retreat.” by Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R)
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/mike-huckabee-gay-marriage-decision

Indeed, some Republican candidates were scathing Thursday in their assessment of the decision. Mike Huckabee, the former Republican governor of Arkansas, termed it “an out-of-control act of judicial tyranny.” Ted Cruz, the senator from Texas, accused the high court of usurping the role of Congress. “Unelected judges have once again become legislators, and bad ones at that,” he said.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-court-healthcare-conservatives-idUSKBN0P60DK20150626

A coalition of at least 74 representatives so far has also introduced a resolution to “Stop This Overreaching Presidency” (STOP) that would bring legal action against Obama for unconstitutional executive orders. “It is sad that we must take this step for the President to follow his Constitutional duty but given yesterday's speech it is clear the President does not respect the balance of power our Founders intended,” said Rep. Ted Yoho (R-Fla.). “Sorry Mr. President, but the Constitution trumps both your pen and phone.”

Another prominent Texas Republican, Rep. Steve Stockman, walked out during Obama’s speech, noting that the president’s abuse of executive orders to legislate without Congress was unconstitutional. “I could not bear to watch as he continued to cross the clearly-defined boundaries of the Constitutional separation of powers,” Stockman said, noting that Obama still refuses to admit that his policies have failed. Indeed, the president’s agenda of higher taxes and spending represent a “blueprint for perpetual poverty,” he said.
“Even worse, Obama has openly vowed to break his oath of office and begin enacting his own brand of law through executive decree,” continued Stockman, who has publicly suggested that there was already enough support in the House of Representatives to impeach Obama for numerous crimes. “This is a wholesale violation of his oath of office and a disqualifying offense.” Stockman has also called for a special prosecutor to investigate.

After the speech, Rep. Steve King of Iowa noted that it was the job of Congress to pass laws, and that Obama knows that full-well. “This threat that the president is going to run the government with an ink pen and executive orders, we’ve never had a president with that level of audacity and that level of contempt for his own oath of office,” the congressman explained about the administration’s lawless threats to bypass lawmakers. “We need to take our oath seriously and defend the Constitution.”

Rep. Raúl Labrador of Idaho, responding to the outrageous schemes to make Congress irrelevant, blasted the machinations in a press release as well. “Unfortunately, what I heard from President Obama tonight was hostility toward our foundational principles, condescension toward a co-equal branch of government, and a general aversion to common sense and bipartisanship,” he said. Rep. Gregg Harper of Mississippi, meanwhile, said Obama had attempted to “intimidate Congress by abusing executive power.”

In the Senate, multiple liberty-minded senators also expressed outrage over Obama’s plans to essentially rule America by decree. Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, who offered a response for the Tea Party, pointed out that the real inequality plaguing America is the result of government — “every time it takes rights and opportunities away from the American people and gives them instead to politicians, bureaucrats and special interests.”
However, Lee also acknowledged that Obama and his party were not the only guilty ones. “The Republican establishment in Washington can be just as out-of-touch as the Democratic Establishment,” he said. “I believe we need to do what Americans have always done — come together and press for positive change. Protesting against dysfunctional government is a great American tradition, going back to the original tea party in Boston, about 240 years ago.”

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, widely considered among the frontrunners for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, released a stinging rebuke of Obama’s threats in a widely celebrated 10-minute video. “President Obama and the Washington elite are driving our great nation right into the ground,” he said, adding that many Republicans were contributing to the problem. “From ignoring the Constitution to drowning our children and grandchildren in unbearable debt, President Obama and Washington politicians on both sides of the aisle are destroying everything that America stands for.”

Another popular senator who has earned broad respect for his efforts to rein in lawless government, Ted Cruz of Texas, also had harsh words for the Obama administration. “Of all the troubling aspects of the Obama presidency, none is more dangerous than the president's persistent pattern of lawlessness, his willingness to disregard the written law and instead enforce his own policies via executive fiat,” Sen. Cruz wrote in the Wall Street Journal. “The president's taste for unilateral action to circumvent Congress should concern every citizen, regardless of party or ideology.”

Nigeria Masses Must protest against PDP. Buhari Anti-Corruption war must succeed

PDP crazy Ideology of Steal, embezzle and loot Government Treasury dry with impunity, “Rule of Law” will stop you from going to prison must be destroyed by Nigeria masses before it destroys Nigeria!

Nigeria masses must be careful the way we support PDP in trying to destroy Buhari anti-corruption war. We must know that Buhari is largely alone in his anti-corruption drive even within the APC. Should we allow PDP to frustrate him and he loses interest and passion to fight corruption, we the masses will suffer the most. His current minsters will have no reason than to loot massively too.

The twisting of the meaning of “Rule of Law” to defend obvious corrupt public officials and treasury looters at the expense of Nigeria masses by PDP is getting to ridiculous and alarming level. One of the main reason of rule of law in the first place is to ensure individuals does not share and loot common wealth of a nation with impunity into individual pocket viz a viz other objectives. The aim of rule of law is to govern in the best way for the people. Therefore anybody who steals public fund is already guilty of breaking the rule of law.

In Nigeria, poor people who steal common goat in villages spend years in prison awaiting trials under both the PDP past governmentt and also under this APC government, I have never heard the PDP trying to defend those poor village thieves with the rule of law!

According to wikepedia , “The rule of law is the legal principle that law should govern a nation, as opposed to being governed by arbitrary decisions of individual government officials. It primarily refers to the influence and authority of law within society, particularly as a constraint upon behavior, including behavior of government officials” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_law. So a public official who convert government money to personal money with impunity is already guilty of breaking the rule of law. it is surprising and very ironical for the person to be hiding under the same rule of law he has destroyed to escape Justice. You cannot eat your cake and have it.

The current anti-corruption fight of president Buhari has fully complied with rule of law so far. This current government has a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) as a vice president. He understands all the loopholes in Nigeria constitution which rich, wealthy and influential Nigeria politicians and public officials use in escaping justice because of their ability to hire sound and good legal team with the looted fund from our common wealth. Then came this innovative prosecution method currently applied by federal government of Nigeria.

The new method of prosecution being applied by the federal government is explained as follows: If you steal yam, meat, egg, rice and the government is aware, they will arrest you for stealing only yam, sue you to court. In a month or two you procure bail for stealing yam. You get arrested and get sued for stealing meat. Maybe in another two months you get a bail, then you get arrested for stealing egg and the process continues. As this goes on, your resources goes down, the people willing to sign surety for you decrease since you may have to use different persons as surety in each case of bail. Also the fact that you are on bail only means you can come to court from your house it does not acquit or discharge you from the case. Thus you will be going to two or more courts at the same time. This will further weaken your resolve to continue to fight because of the huge resources and energy you will need to drag on the case. In doing this the government has fully complied with rule of law. This is what have been applied in the case of Dasuki and other cases. Buhari has not disobeyed any court order. Everything Buhari has done is legal.

If a man is accused of stealing N1billion, and he goes to court and the SANs, with all their shenanigans and technicalities, using the Constitution, to say you have committed a bailable offence whereas the consequences are more than what is bailable, then you are able to get bail; then tomorrow, we find that you have stolen another billion naira, that is another offence and, therefore, you should be arrested. To me, once you get a bail for a particular offence, that does not mean you cannot be arrested for another offence. As far as I’m concerned, the government has even been very gentle and constrained in doing its job and dealing with this monster of corruption.

The reason for the serious panic in PDP camp over Dasuki case is very simple. The case will implicate many top PDP members. Also Dasuki is a son of a former sultan of sokoto which make him a royalty and a prince, a Fulani like Buhari, a former army colonel. If Dasuki can be jailed with all his influence, it means it will be difficult for any other person to escape being jailed. All the noise about dictatorship, fascism, tyranny, totalitarianism, abuse of power, abuse of the rule of law, etc by PDP is just out of frustration. This is because the size of the loophole they were relying on has been strongly reduced.

For all those who claim Buhari is no saint and as such should not fight corruption should go and have their head examined. I agree he is no saint. But there is no country in the world ruled by saints. If other countries like United State, China, France have succeded in reducing corruption in their countries by sinful men who are not saint, then Buhari is qualified to fight corruption. Except we want God to come down from heaven himself to come and fight Nigeria corruption.

For the first time in a very long time in Nigeria history, we have a president who is passionate and focus in reducing corruption in Nigeria. We the Nigeria masses must support him so that he will have the courage and energy to continue this fight. In the long run, the beneficiary of this fight is the common man like me and you. We must not allow people who have abused us, trampled upon us, and oppressed us to deceive us with grammar in order to go away scot free despite all the heavy atrocity they have committed.

For those crying to Barrack Obama, I tell you, United States is even tougher than Buhari on issues of national security and placing people in custody without trials. Barrack Obama has ordered killing of America citizens with drones without trial. There are American Citizens in Guantanemo bay detention and other detention faciities in US and outside the US without trial for months and years. Below is prove from Wikipedia

American detainees at Guantanamo Bay

The United States Department of Defense acknowledges holding 99 American citizens captured in Afghanistan, during the "war on terror", and one of them was held, for a time, in Guantanamo.[1] Guantanamo was only supposed to be used to detain non-Americans. But although Yasser Hamdi was born in the US, he was raised in Saudi Arabia, and Joint Task Force Guantanamo counter-terrorism analysts didn't realize he was an American. He was eventually repatriated to Saudi Arabia, provided he agreed to renounce his US citizenship.

John Walker Lindh, "the American Taliban," was recognized as an American citizen right away.[2] He spent a couple of months in CIA and military custody, but was never held in Guantanamo. He was transferred to the US court system only months after his capture, and received a twenty-year sentence.

Jose Padilla was held without charge, for several years, in the consolidated naval brig in North Carolina. He too was never held in Guantanamo.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_detainees_at_Guantanamo_Bay

Corruption is considered National Security Issue. Anti-corruption fight is a war and we the masses should see it as such. it is a fight for our common good and well being.

Corruption, to be sure, is a national security issue. The worst case scenario takes roots if corruption manages to seep into the state apparatus that itself is responsible for national security.
http://www.jworldtimes.com/Article/82012_Corruption_and_National_Security

Nigeria masses must rise up against PDP or else Nigeria will be doom forever should we allow PDP to pressure President Buhari to give up on his anti-Corruption war. We must understand that the current Buhari anti-corruption war will go a long way in ensuring that the current cabinent members of Buhari government perform with minimal stealing of our common wealth. Should we allow PDP to fustrate Buhari to give up on his anti- Corruption fight, I promise you, the current ministers and other public officials under the current APC government will grow very wild and steal our common wealth without any consciennce or Fear. We need to understand that Buhari is alone to a very large extent in this anti-corruption war. Many of Buhari cabinent members are secretely supporting PDP to fustrate the anti-corruption war. It benefits Buhari Ministers if the anti-corruption war fails. Nigeria masses must wake up to reality and understand that we are the one at the receiving end. Nigerians have been praying to God in churches, Mosque and Shrines for corruption in Nigeria to reduce. God have answered our prayers in Buhari. Let us not make the mistake of the Jews who God sent a messiah and Saviour Jesus Christ, but was rejected because he came to them as a son of an ordinary carpenter. Buhari may have come to us as someone without oratory skills with limited conventional education, but i strongly believe, he is the answer to Nigerians prayers on corruption.

Dear President Mohammadu Buhari,

Lee Kuan Yew, One of the most respected leaders of our time, a first class Cambridge genius, and a former president per excellence, who ruled Singapore from from 1959 to 1990 once said and I quote “Between being loved and being feared, I have always believed Machiavelli was right. If nobody is afraid of me, I’m meaningless.”. Mr. President I start with this quote because in Nigeria if people do not fear you, I can bet you, you sir, would be meaningless. If the globally-respected Lee Kuan Yew can say this, and we see what Singapore has become, who are we not to follow a model that has worked?

Sir, while some see you as a tyrant, we see you as a gallant, charismatic, stern, focused and effective leader. I believe that breaking the so called rule of law sometimes to achieve a country where discipline, decorum, and the fear of stealing or mismanaging public funds is instilled is by far better than any goodies the "rule of law" can bring. Those that call you tyrant still turn a blind eye, to the first objective blinded-question presidential media chat we have ever witnessed in our country. By now, Mr. President, you must have been inundated with the rantings of several people like Femi Fani Kayode, who for many years has basked in the hay of corruption and crass impunity that has characterized previous administrations. As Mallam Nuhu Ribadu would say "When you fight corruption, it fights back" That assertion is true in this case.

Mr. President, Nigeria is the only country where the likes of Femi Fani-Kayode would keep quoting the Bible, calling on God, but yet is a man that is presently in his 4th marriage (or would I say co-habitation?), a man known to be a alleged to be addicted to crack; a man who failed to recognize his daughter's wedding; a man accused to have sexually abused his female staff while as a minister; a man who publicly boasted about his sexual escapades with igbo women on national newspaper; a man accused of physical brutality and hostage-taking of his older brother, Rotimi Fani-Kayode, who died eventually; a man who speaks for the APC today, and tomorrow join and eat his vomit in the PDP; An unstable man, a man of low moral compass. A man who is so lost that the word vagabond fails to do justice to his character. Sir, would any one pay attention to such a man? See Rwanda, is Paul Kigame playing by the rule of law to make Rwanda what it is today? Did Gadafi play by rule of law to make Libya the best country by all standards prior to the West's destruction? Did Ahmadinejad, the former President of Iran play by the rule of law to make Iran what it is today? Did Vladimir Putin play by the rule of law to make it become a second world power? Even the ALMIGHTY USA broke the rule of law for many years before their institutions came to what what they are today. All these leaders I have mentioned, have one thing in common, and Sir, that is people in their country fear and respect them. Without reverence for a leader in a developing nation with weak institutions, the country becomes a free for all - a situation exemplified by the impunity and the stealing-is-not-corruption-attitude that became the trade mark of the past administration.

Mr President, for the first time in many years we have a leader in you that do not believe in rewarding and elevating thieves. No matter what the numerous crackheads we have in Nigeria writes no matter what they say or do, be rest assured that I and millions of Nigerians, know better - you would never become as weak, clueless, wicked, insensitive, soft and corrupt. We know sir, that you would stand tall in every angle of morality integrity and sincerity of purpose. You would NEVER let the goats who ate our yams, or who threaten our sovereignty go scot free, even if it means breaking the already corrupted "rule of law". We are solidly behind you sir.

Permit me to end by quoting the great American President, Franklin D Roosevelt who said and I quote "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself". For those of us that are behind you, we would not fear. Those that cannot fear their own fear only have one thing they are afraid of - the guilt and consequences of putting our country on the path of destruction.

God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
