Difficult picking one of these two paint patterns.
Nice work going on here man, thumbs up

I'm not sure the pictures of the car you posted can pass for a restoration job.

There basically is nothing to restore there.

Absolutely.

You nailed it boss. I wonder if pipu can't differentiate btw preparing/replacing faulty parts in cars. they now refer to all as auto restoration. All of una won dey copy Siena?

I agree.

A misuse of the word.

This is more of a refurbish or upgrade. Bolting trinkets on is not restoration.

It's a slap in the face to us restorers.

Front end completed. Sway bar bushings, link ends, suspension, control arms, brake pads, engine belts, oil change and oil sump leakage sealed.

Plan for Monday - change rear end suspension, rear brake pads, rear link ends, rear bushings, the 4 oxygen sensors, transmission fluid, cold air intake and high pressure wash in preparation for body work. Also test fit new 18" rims.

Workshop is at Owode Onirin Ketu Lagos. Its my brother's not mine.

Man! How much did all this cost?

Tire valve stem cover....a lil vanity wont hurt.

I hope these covers stay on as long as possible. Our Lagos tire repairs guys have a way of 'forgetting' to return them after pumping tires.

I wonder why these guys are like this...nigeria has a ling way to go! I always make sure i monitor even the littlest of repairs on my car because i know how non challant most mechanics are!

grin

Meanwhile I don't like how this 18" rim looks on the car. Wheel arch looks like it can take 20 inches comfortably but Lagos potholes love to put dents on big rims.
trust u are safe, how far? Thought our car will be ready B4 Christmas.

Boss, my brother put the car aside to attend to his VIP clients due to my absence. Reason why family is the "best" to do biz with. He just painted it yesterday

Thanks Master Siena, dumo1, Hydef, ba7man and Bossforeva.

I still have some work to do to finish up and funds running low. Maybe a "talking drum" in place of a pioneer sound system will cut costs cheesy

You Nigerians just think everything is about 2 or 3 days training and its all over. Are you a painter? Do you have knowledge in upholstery and are you an automechanic? if no to any of these questions, do you think that someone would wake up from no where one day and start fixing a car without having a clue to what he is doing on it in the first place. auto engineering and Aesthetic upgrade is not 4-5 days Anakara shoe and bag training. Thanks.
