the best the igbos can ever do is to wish they are the most enlightened tribe in Nigeria - YORUBAS

And which they can never be, because of the bitter envy and hate in their hearts.

You have very poor historical knowledge! Igbos have always been the best race all-in-all in Africa right from the 1940s.....why do you think the northernisation policy was introduced by Ahmadu Bello? Do a little research jare undecided
StOla:
The Igbo man has always loved to compare himself to a Yoruba standard, while Yorubas just keep on setting standards for the rest of Africa.

Talk about catching up?

Yorubas became lawyers, Igbos are now lawyers too.

Yorubas became doctors, Igbos are now doctors too

Yorubas became engineers, Igbos are now engineers too.

Yorubas became bankers, Igbos are now bankers too.

Yorubas became judges in UK and USA, An Igbo man has finally become a Judge too in the USA.

Soyinka became 1st African Nobel Laureate, Igbos say it is irrelevant, once an Igbo gets awarded it would become mighty relevant.

This is what Achebe termed as the East catching up with the West.

The West remains a reference to development globally.

East Germany trying to measure up to West Germany before the unification.
Western Europe trying to pull Eastern Europe out of the 3rd world.

Did a Yoruba man not recently become a key Obama staff? Deputy National Security Adviser?

One day, God willing, the Igbos will catch up in this regard too.

OP, should I playback the piece that FFK once wrote about the Igbos before you gave him your sister so he could hush up?

Look at a catchup clansman calling me a Yoruba boy illiterate.

I'm sure my educated greatgrandfather had an Igbo cook those days in Lagos Island. I bet he was magnanimous enough to teach him how to speak and write English.

Even Ajayi Crowther taught the bushmen from the East how to structure their own language by constructing their primer so they can be literate.

We keep dividing ourselves in the South to the betterment of the enemy(North) Igbo's and Yoruba's are great achievers but what about the North? What have they accomplish in the world with their huge presence in politics, civil services, high population and landmass? Unity of Southerners will be the collapse of the North #Fact.

There are far better uses for the 10MB MTN gifted you. Let's stop all this crap for once. For Nigeria to move forward, Igbo and Yoruba, Hausa-Fulani and every other ethic entity must come forward and embrace each other with good intentions. The past is the past, we have no control of yesterday's events. But the future is upon us; what do we do with it? Throw it away and watch our nation languish in the throes of poverty or come together and work for the greater good.??
