No wonder he used a fake name to lodge at the hotel where he was arrested
Fake name indeed, the man smartly used his middle name.

Biafra cannot stand. I've interacted with many Igbos. You guys are not even united among yourselves. Imolites can't marry the Anambrarians. The Delta Igbos don't see themselves as true Igbos. The Igbos view guys from Abakaliki as Igbotic-Fulanis (Igbos with Fulani mentality). Tell me how they can co-exist as Biafra? I laugh at your struggle. My advice is that we seek a unified Nigeria that practices true fiscal federalism. The Igbos will benefit from such unified Nigeria. I rest my case.

Is that so ?

Many Nigerians didn't know Kanu before he was arrested. He was only popular among unemployed youths in the eastern part of the country before he was arrested.

Now this Nigga is feeling like NELSON MANDELA.

Believe it will be better for this govt to let this man go because he has not done anything worse than what PMB himself has done when he overtly supported BOko by saying an attack on Boko was an attack on the North.
Truth if if this man should die in custody (God forbid) this may be the beginning of Africa spring because I so not see anything wrong if a man says he is not happy with the situation of country and his people. This is democracy and no single individual should ever for once think he or she is bigger than the nation. This is not military regime the rule of law and court orders must be obeyed or else anarchy will be the order of the day. Let the so called elder statemen talk to their own in secret o before it becomes too late.

We live in sham believing we are one in this country.

I don't preach separation but I know that if you go to the north, you will be denied certain privileges cos you're from the south and same happens in other regions.

we should as a people,do this:
1. abolish state of origin
2. rotate presidency amongst all the regions or better still implement true federalism.
3. implement PIB

Trust me,the best way to bury Biafra is regionalism but I wonder why the Nigeria govt after saying the east has no natural resources and are ravaged by erosion still don't want regionalism. Bring regionalism and let those easterners suffer if you feel your claims are right.

The emboldened is going to set the country of fire quicker than anything else.

This is not the USA, this is Nigeria/Africa where folks are ready to kill or die for their ancestral lands and benefits accrued to it.

Let us get pragmatic and draw our system according to our realities.

Sharrap what is your definition of popularity. Kanu's popularity was more hardly earned than that Duara guy who got into military without certificate and stole his way to being head of state. Even the presidency he is thought to have earned he cant prove his worth almost 8mnths into office. So go re-check your definition of cheap popularity.
PS : I dont support The Kanu guy but I hate sentimental as.s licking folks

They do not need to find weapons on me before they charge him for treason. The guy case is a dead on arrival case. I listened to radio biafra for about 30 minutes and I realized there are tons of evidence to nail this guy with in court. With all the video evidences showing him asking for ammunition to fight a democratically elected government, there is no way this dude will be charge with anything less than treason

Chapter 6 section 37 sub section 1 of nigerian criminal code act says "any person who levies war against the state, in order to intimidate or overawe the president or the governor of a state is guilty of treason and is liable to the punishment of death".

Sub section 2 of the same section says " any person conspiring with any person either within or outside nigeria to levy war against the state with the intent to cause such levying of war as would be of treason if committed by a citizen of nigeria, is guilty of treason and is liable to the punishment of death".

Section 38 of the same act says "any person who instigate any foreigner to invade nigeria with an armed force is guilty of treason, and is liable to the punishment of death ".

Section 42 says "any person who, without lawful authority, carries on, or makes preparation for carrying on, or aids in or advises the carrying on of, or preparation for, any war or warlike undertaking with, for, by, or against, any authority, or with, for, by, or against any band of citizens, is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for life".

Nnamdi Kanu is guilty of all these offenses and his case is a sorry one.

Senior Advocate, moments ago you claimed to have listened to Radio Biafra, and now you claim to have video evidences of him asking for arms. Senior Advocate, spare yourself the stress of quoting the Constitution and forward the videos to the appropriate place as that might earn you the job you desperately need. Think about it.

and applying those sections you quoted to the facts of his case and you think that ingredients of treason is furnished? Have asked why his case still lingers if there are enough evidence to secure his conviction or have you forgotten that he need not prove his innocence but to raise a reasonable doubt and of course you know the standard of proof in criminal cases
