"Yam distributor -in-chief"- GEJ need not say anything yet, the "yam assignor"-NOI, should do the talking for now as the minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy under whose watch, all d yams disappeared.

I have said it before, and I will continue to say it. Any enlightened Nigerian who opens his/her mouth to say that Dasuki acted independently should have his/her heard examined. The man received orders from above to divert the money for PDP campaigns.

I believe he has revealed this to the EFCC already, but because it is Jonathan, the EFCC and the presidency are treading carefully. This will not last forever though, because Dasuki will talk in court. He will not go down alone. Somebody mark my words and this day.

Jonathan should speak up. I think the present government is trying to protect him because he honourably handed over to them. I don't want to believe goodluck is as dull as people say. Let's clear this arms deal ish and move forward. let our prosecutors gather facts before arresting anyone. Nigerian prosecutors are the worse in the world they would arrest before finding facts instead of the other way round. Am sick and tired of this DasukiGate. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone it set free at the end of the day. Am tired of this News paper trials. someone pls tell this government to show a judge in a court room how they transfered and exchanged the fund and not newspapers.

Dasuki has been saying that all disbursements had presidential approval.

That means either:
- Jonathan was incompetent enough that he was swindled into signing documents by the NSA

- Jonathan was corrupt enough that he knowingly signed the documents.

Even the CBN governor & the Minister of Finance should answer because it seems they disregarded constitutional procedure because of "presidential" signature.

In law, "Qui tacet consentit". It translates to mean 'silence is consent'.

Jonathan has two choices and I hope his lawyers advise him accordingly. He can either elect to be a prosecution witness or to join Dasuki as a co-accused person. In any case, Dasuki won't hesitate to rubbish him if given the opportunity.

If he is a prosecution witness, he woldn't need expensive legal services as he is on the government's side and his reputation remains intact. Hence, lawyer no go chop.
If he foolishly decides to join Dasuki as a co-accused person, he would need expensive legal services and lawyer go chop plenty.

If you were Jonathan's lawyer, which path would you advise him to follow?
then, why can't the EFCC invite him.they're the ones causing this suspense.not jona. He might be 100.1% aware of everything.so he won't want to be too farward himself.EFCC should do their JOB

Read the crap you posted above and ascertain whether it made sense.

You set out to clairvoyant as to know what is Dasuki's mind or what he would do. Are you not getting ridiculous?

You guys can go on regaling yourself with fantasy while failing to hold accountable a government elected to better the lot of Nigerians.

if i send u go market to buy N1000 worth of bread. u removed N500. u den bought me N500 bread telling me it cost exactly N1000, who's to be blamed hia No be u I budgeted N1000 for bread n u brought me N500 bread, there's no way u can hold me responsible for u buying me bread of N500 instead of N1000. Same analogy applies with GEJ.
GEJ approved monies of arms but part of d money was diverted by those who's job is to account for every purchase approved by d president, will u hold GEJ responsible for d diversion
GEJ owes nobody any explanation. let dis govt investigate service chiefs for inflation of contract n over invoicing thoroughly n stop bombarding us with noise.

All I see is someone using EFCC to hide a glaring case of cowardice, if you ask me.

If Buhari has a watertight case against Jonathan and indeed any other functionary in the past administration, he should do the needful by going through the courts of the land and not hiding under EFCC and DSS to cover his obvious lapses.

The whole saga is getting embarrassing.

The giant of Africa or some inconsequential, nondescript banana republic?

Everfrank:
A lot of revelations have come to light on how the $2.1 billion meant for arms purchase was allegedly diverted into the presidential campaign of former president and the candidate of the party in the 2015 general elections, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. Former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda, Col. Mohammed Sambo Dasuki (retd), a former National Security Adviser (NSA); Shuaibu Salisu, a former Director of Finance and Administration NSA’s office, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafawara, a former governor of Sokoto State; Sagir Attahiru, his son and Dalhatu Investment Limited are a few men in the Jonathan administration that are currently being tried for the offence. Months into the commencement of the investigation, the man who was at the helms while the looting was taking place, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has refused to say a word. In light of this, INFORMATION NIGERIA has gathered up the reasons why Jonathan must speak up now…

– The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under which Jonathan emerged as president has become an object of public ridicule and harsh criticisms and everyone in the party, whether innocent or guilty are being tagged as corrupt. In light of this shame, Jonathan must speak up to redeem his party, whose goodwill he enjoyed for years.

– If the PDP organised a dinner where billions of naira was raised money for Jonathan’s campaign, what then is the explanation for the armsgate? Jontahan must say.

– Jonathan can not act aloof in all these as these alleged crimes were perpetuated under his watch. He should clarify whether he instructed his former NSA to divert the money meant to fight Boko Haram into his campaign.

– Jonathan in the last administration held the highest authority, therefore must answer questions on what he knows or doesn’t know about the chilling revelations being made on the $2.1 billion arms deal.

– Jonathan had said that his government never awarded any contract in the range of US$2bn, so where did this money come from? Jonathan must tell Nigerians.

– It is disturbing to start to think it possible that one man (Dasuki), all by himself could have disbursed such mind-boggling amount without the approval of the President and Commander in Chief. If he (Dasuki) actually did it all on his own, then Jonathan must tell us where he traveled to or if Dasuki was the President in his stead.

Jonathan can no longer keep mum on this issue, it will do neither Jonathan nor Nigeria any good. We all want to get to the root of this matter, therefore let our former President speak up now or what do you think
http://www.informationng.com/2016/01/dasukigate-6-reasons-why-jonathan-must-be-made-to-break-his-silence.html
. What do you want Jonathan to say, if Dasuki himself have any document directing him to share the monies for Jona's presidential campaign he would have presented it to save his head. Jona you all know dat the $2.1B was signed out by the ex-President for procurement of arms. It seem the person dat made this write up is very ignorant nd need to be updated.

$2.1billion was shared mostly by northern politicians instead of buying arms because the northerners knew that Boko Haram was an instrument of the north to fight Jonathan government in order to create a situation of gross insecurity, which shall make the world and Nigeria's electorate reject Jonathan in the polls for a northern presidential candidate.

Dasuki felt there was no need for the arms.

Even President Buhari now on hypocrisy way once said that fighting Boko Haram was like fighting northern Nigeria
